McLuhan’s Massage Parlour, 2011 : And Who Are You ? A Panoscopic 360° interactive Installation by Luc Courchesne, Benjamin Bergery and Luc Martinez- 42 permanent loops, attached to the pages of Mc Luhan 1967's book : “ The medium is the massage, an inventory of effects “.
Pages are spread in a virtuel 360° environment. Original sound loops are individually located close to each correspondant page. They are conceived to be heard when the visitor “stands by“, or “ walks through “ a page of the book. Navigating through Mc Luhan's virtual space allows the visitor to mix its own score, in relation with texts, drawings and pictures.
First “première“ in Toronto-CA, for “Nuit Blanche“, october 1st 2011.
