Written on a gloomy January evening, recorded in Nottingham and then produced at long distance between multiple bedrooms throughout the pandemic, Headlights is a perfectly apt representation of the unsteady circumstances we are all currently living in. With consistent reference to stillness in each chorus, the band have managed to capture the very essence of this past year “still, as sleep shimmers down my spine. Still, as headlights reflect my eyes."
