Luciano Lamanna is an authentic maverick, or better said, a free beater.  His core values can be summarised in a handfull of key words: experimentation, analogical instruments, vinyl and Musick above all.  From South to North, with a constant desire to have fun and grasp the right occasions, his career has become distinct due to its unconformity with the established norms. 

As sound engineer, dj, producer and remixer, he never turned down an opportunity of adding his personal touch in his and other’s tracks; initiating fruitful collaborations by injecting some of his essence in various projects such as Assalti Industriali, Der Noir and Lunar Lodge. It’s been a few years now that he’s an active participant of the Italian collective of artists known as LSWHR.

In 2015 he started a collaboration with Davide Ricci from which the “B A L A N C E” project comes to light - a conceptual exhibition based on improvisation through the use of modular synthesizers.  In 2017 together with tattoo artist Luca Mamone give birth to ADSR SPQR.

His strength thus lies in the puzzle of sounds which is the fruit of the most desperate of experiences from industrial, wave and electronic - all of which are knowledgeably tessellated through the art of improvisation.

For the 15th COUPCAST we are proud to present a hero of true underground, Madalba. From a very young age, Madalba's interest in different musical cultures such as house and dance music and also spread through rock and punk which eventually lead to techno and club­culture. Through the years she has developed a continued and careful respect of the musical experience. She moved to Berlin and started DJing with only vinyl records. This helped build her strong reputation as an underground techno DJ and provided opportunity for her to play in several clubs of the city.

In September 2011, she moved to Detroit where she discovered some of the scenes most well known clubs like as The Works, Exodus and several others across the state in collaboration with DJ Seoul and Tom Linder of Detroit Techno Militia. This travel has definitely and radically changed her approach to the techno concept, which she considers more a social phenomenon and a lifestyle rather than just a musical genre.

In January 2012 she became resident of the party Homopatik at about blank. Her first releases are available on vinyl on Arkita Rec (Berlin), the label that she spawned in 2014 together with Synkopheit.

Currently, she is resident DJ and co-organizer of the party "Buttons" in about blank, teaming with Danilo Rosato, Jacob Meehan, Shingo Suwa, Akirahawks, Paolo Di Nola, Stanley Schmidt, Anna Bolena and Synkopheit. Besides, she is about to launch her own record label “Future Déjà Vu”.

Pacou was born and raised in Berlin. Back in 1989 the sounds of House and Techno music took off there. He became a music collector and went to many now legendary parties and club events, which greatly influenced his future career. In september 1996 he released his first record under the name "agent cooper" (on the label "Raw Music") and shortly after his first single on Tresor as "Pacou".
The following year 1997, Tresor released Pacou's first album "Symbolic Language", and he became a resident DJ at the club.

The year 1998 marked a substantial progress in both DJ and production aspects of his career. He started playing around Europe, Japan and Australia, and changed over to fulltime work on music and performing as DJ.
In 1998, Pacou founded his first own label "LL Records" to release some of his own material, and publish work of musical friends.

A third LP "State of mind" was released in 2000, furthermore singles on the labels Djax, Konsequent, Music Man and others. Tour dates again ranged from Brasil to Australia. Tresor released another single "Last Man Standing" in February 2004 and a whole album "The Berlin Sessions" produced with Juan Atkins in 2005.

He started another record label "Cache Records" in 2005, with 13 vinyl releases - similarly to "LL" it featured a number of musically related friends' work and some of his own.
With more than 20 years of the residency at Berlin's wellknown Tresor club, new 12" vinyls appeared on the Tresor label 2011 and 2017, while tours with Live PA and DJ sets continued around Europe and with a new emphasis on South America.

In 2016, the bandcamp page for all backcatalogue releases pacou.bandcamp.com was started and most of the previously released work can now be found there.
So far Pacou has played in more than 30 countries, and the story will continue... spreading the good vibe.
