Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. Timmo follows up his debut Drumcode release ‘We Beat On’ with a brand new 4-tracker packed to the rafters with his own unique blend of techno. His productions are getting plays from the likes of Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Richie Hawtin amongst others; 2017 is set to be his biggest year yet. 

Timmo’s unique sound has captured the eyes and ears of many highly revered techno DJs around the world and his ‘System’ release is a stark reminder of exactly why this is. ‘Intensify’ is a big room record that is set to do some real damage on dance floors worldwide. This peak time tool thumps through 7 minutes of power, dragging you in and throwing you out the other side as the track rolls on. 
‘The Maze’ is an example of his excellent production, with his use of synths on a level that some producers take years to hone. ‘System’ is a haunting track, authentic four-to-the-floor techno that screams in to top gear right from the off. 'Backstage/In my Head' is the debut Ep of Raffaele Rizzi on Silent Storm!
The Italian artist has been in the scene for years and boasts collaborations with top-level labels.
He introduces himself with 2 tracks, they represent very well all the characteristics of the sound that led him to be supported by the top DJs of the scene.
These 2 originals are supported by an excellent remix of Barbuto, the artist is not new to this type of collaboration on Silent Storm as he had already done a great job remixing 'Long Knife' by Tom Laws a year ago.
'Backstage' It's characterized by a very deep bass and reverberations that project a sense of greatness. The atmosphere is hypnotic and the synth riffs contrast it, creating an amazing effect. The main Break is impress for the melody created by the warm lead that open its frequencies until it suddenly disappears, leaving space for the main theme again.
'In My Head' represents the other side of the producer, the most melodic and groovy one certainly not less powerful. The bass line leaves no escape out and forces you to move following the rhythm of the percussions. Everything is strengthened by the very fine pad that fills the horizon and vanishes only to leave room to the characteristic vocal that takes the absolute command during the main break, to then reappear in a rhythmic way.
In the remix of Barbuto the track is revisited in a definitely more straight way, the voice always finds a dominant place during the break but this time the melody leaves space to a resolute and deep rhythm.
