Luca Carlotta - Sehnenscheiden Dub (Goldgeb Records)

Lugar Sonoro aims to create recurring excursions in sound as an imaginary place where boundaries in musical genres blend, disappear or even create something new.
Time should be of less importance than hearing, perceiving and feeling.

The first edition as premiered on @radio-relativa is a recording of spontaneous character with Guest Lena Holzwig. 
An encounter in a musical space with rather calm energies and meditative character.

Lugar Sonoro aims to create recurring excursions in sound as an imaginary place where boundaries in musical genres blend, disappear or even create something new.
Time should be of less importance than hearing, perceiving and feeling.

The first hour of the second Lugar Sonoro show is a blend between contemporary and past experimental music, with a focus on the italian Avant-garde. Names such as O.A.S.I, Paolo Modugno but as well Laurie Anderson will be found here. On the other you will listen the wonderful new release from Time is Away, the London-based duo of Jack Rollo and Elaine Tierney and music by the multitalented Prins Emanuel out of Malmö.
The second hour is an excerpt from a 7 hours live recording at Otannenbaum, together with Onta who, with his show Hip Therapy on viennese res.radio with Kax Mahl, has been a sonic companion for the past years.

While dreaming we experience the unknown, the blurry notions of the past and future.  Our self-awareness may float away into a vague and mysterious beeing that we sometimes no longer can grasp.  Without trying to understand these most inner spheres of us, Tenera E’ La Notte (tender is the night) is meant as an excurse in collaging the spaces that dreams may open within ourselves.

Luca Carlotta is a DJ and producer based in Vienna, who grew up in between the Canary Islands and Germany. With a background in studies in electroacustical and experimental music and playing drums in his sets he currently wanders between genres such as Neo-Kraut, Dub, Spacerock,
Synth Pop, the reviving IDM and more unconventional approaches to dance and non dance music. He has hosted a radio show on Radio Relativa, did recent mixes on Retreat Radio, Callshop and NTS and released music on the Viennese Goldgelb label and is looking forward to release new music on a compilation by Isle of Wax.
