The second single from Keys N Krates forthcoming Every Nite EP, "Understand Why" combines loopy, pitched up 90s house vocals, knocking rap drums, epic synths, big bass, and haunting voices to form a genre defying banger.  

The track undoubtedly elaborates on the Keys N Krates sound developed in tracks like “Treat Me Right" and “Dum Dee Dum," which use morphed vocal samples and 808s to create tension-filled rap beats that are as anthemic as they are strange. "Dum Dee Dum" has remained a mainstay in fellow 808 enthusiast's DJ sets like Baauer and RL Grime. "Understand Why" is no different, having already picked up big support from the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Just Blaze and Salva, to name a few.

I decided to take a break from the "trap scene" thing because i wanted to create a song that could connect with others on a level of relaxation, and the reason why is because i know at times people can over think a ton of things, like myself with deciding on what i really want to do for the rest of my life.
