NGHTMRE - Street [CRWNS Remix]

For this remix I wanted to do kind of the opposite of what I normally do which is turn trance anthems into melodic dubstep tracks. I love that old school trance sound circa 2007 so that's really what this song is based off of. Anyways, I had a lot of fun making this track and I hope you enjoy listening to it!

After we played our first show together, the Zeds dead guys and I really wanted to do a track together. They sent me a few ideas and the chord progression for this track really stood out to me and I immediately wrote some ideas for vocal chops and arrangement. A few months later we met up in LA and got in the studio to lock in the main idea and find a vocal. I originally pictured a track between us to be a bit heavier, but once we wrote these melodies and vocal chops I really fell in love with the emotion of the track.

oomeflow has traversed through time & space into the ethereal sounds of vibrations of the universe. Drawing on her practice of yoga in careful rhythm and flow, her alias “oomeflow” was created, with a play on the ‘Om’ spiritual symbol. Her path in electronic music began listening to Tiësto in her parents’ living room at the early age of 7. 

Influences of house, disco, trance, soft rock, soul, hip-hop and R&B ran apparent with an experimental approach as she was self-taught on several instruments including the kazoo, an electronic keyboard and the ukulele. oomeflow continues to provide GÜD vibrations through her collective mixes transcending the here and now.
