Canadian pair My Favorite Robot have revived their 2012 Life and Death release 'Barricade' with a special remix from the label boss himself, that was unreleased at the time. DJ Tennis takes the track on a beautifully melancholic trip, pulling listeners slowly inward with every new series of rolling kicks and the track's guttural, haunting vocals. Still waters run deep, deep waters get dark. @Arutani lifted the curtain to catch a glimpse of what is behind and came back with slow paced stories of irreality: Dry, driving and with a lovely greyish tint. Basel's heimlicher hero does know his way around threading telling, pushing and lifting, with an eye and ear for the little details. Like his predecessors: Lost in Luise without losing track.
