A drifty bass line that sticks to one’s guns and takes center stage melting into an impulsive groove - ready to be paired with funky slaps. Contrasting dreamy delay shimmers make sure to take you deeper underground, forcing you into its collaborative fusion.

Drawing inspiration from a vibrant energy, the duo's use of live instruments, guitars, drums and piano adds this human touch to the track. Inspired by the pulsating urbanity and its enchantment with timeless grooves, Musto’s and May’s commitment to creating an authentic and dynamic sound inside a heavily saturated genre.

Musto and May have crafted more up and coming collaborations, fading into a full EP dropping early 2024.

Ouïe Circle is Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s sublabel that provides a platform for the wider circle of friends and artists associated with Ouïe.

With the seventh release, we are treated to five exquisite tracks from a combination of Geju and Acid Pauli himself. 
Lead track Bird Box is a delight - a fidgety, elastic groove sets the tone, while esoteric sounds and textures punctuate the track to create its own little audio biosphere.

The original spans eight and half minutes, and feels almost too short. 
Also included are two remixes, both with their own individual takes on the track. Iorie’s remix straightens up the groove somewhat, becoming a serious midtempo chugger with beautifully realized arpeggiated synths and a bubbling, magical atmosphere. 
Ed Ed (who also appeared previously on Ouïe Circle 03) goes for more of a tropical workout - shuffling drums underpin a thick bass and lush, dreamy pads.

Elsewhere on this release, Geju offers up two new tracks. Monko is a low slung slo mo groove, that mixes infectious percussion with pulsing synth tones and ethereal leads. Anosino also mixes the worlds of sampled nature sounds with heavy kicks and a slinky, unpredictable arrangement - traversing the worlds of electronic and chill out music.

A monk is sitting in the lotus position, fully aware of his surroundings as he meditates. He starts to chant the mantra of YAM and opens his heart with the anahata chakra. He is right by the water - the Mekong River and becomes one with nature as he chants. A musical piece comes into his vision and his smile is brightening up, while he takes in the sun rays. He gets inspired by the slow twisting rhythms and low frequencies injecting deep into his soul. Chakra Yam is a piece, that is shaping the path between the physical and the metaphysical realm, to connect you with the universe, as all what we are made of are the remnants of ancient stardust.

Luca Musto is an enthusiast of soul, jazz and blues, his electronic music/’slow- house’ oozes of grooving beats and hypnotizing melodies. His catalogue merges the resilience of modernity with authenticity and the musical preferences of our generation with subtlety, so that it never feels to be listening to just another record.
