Kariyan and I connected in an unexpected way on Instagram. We shared tracks back and forth, but I knew from moment I heard it, that this one was special. It had that rare kind of magic you can’t explain, only feel.

So, we decided to collaborate and finish it together, and the vision was simple. Like its title, the track lives in that space of contradiction, with drum & bass fueling the core, it still caries a slow tempo and emotive energy.

The Call is not about picking up the phone, as some might assume. For Beat Laudan, it's about answering a deeper, inner calling—a powerful urge to create epic melodies that carry his inner worlds out into the open. Formerly known under the alias Nu'bal, the Swiss-born artist now embarks on a fresh chapter of his musical journey, returning with a series of heavy-hitting tracks on Amselcom / Spirit Dance.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

For Cuddle Cast #36 we asked our long time cuddle partner @ly_ba to create a set for us and she creates the perfect autumn journey.

Luc Angenehm was born 1991 in Duesseldorf and grew up in the lovely city of Langenfeld, Germany. Prevailed by his parents to take piano lessons for 10 years, it turned out to be more than helpful in his future career. Later, Luc got introduced to a wide range of contemporary house music by his older sister. Inspired by this music, he felt the urge to purchase producing equipment and take professionel producing lessons at Modern Musik School Cologne (Vibra). Starting off to develop his skills in producing at the age of 17, he worked on his style which can be best described as a mix of Progressive, Minimal, Deep and Tech House eversince.
