This set was originally recorded for a very special kind of event — a "lying down party", an idea by my friend Anton Chupin that really resonated with me. It's music not to dance to, but to truly listen to — to rest in, drift away, or lean into.

This set was played at my wife Diana’s birthday party — a cozy evening with friends. Nearly a year later, I’m finally sharing it here.

The mix blends old favorites and new discoveries, ranging from neoclassical textures to ambient IDM. A personal collection of tracks I love — some for years, some just recently found.

Luc Angenehm was born 1991 in Duesseldorf and grew up in the lovely city of Langenfeld, Germany. Prevailed by his parents to take piano lessons for 10 years, it turned out to be more than helpful in his future career. Later, Luc got introduced to a wide range of contemporary house music by his older sister. Inspired by this music, he felt the urge to purchase producing equipment and take professionel producing lessons at Modern Musik School Cologne (Vibra). Starting off to develop his skills in producing at the age of 17, he worked on his style which can be best described as a mix of Progressive, Minimal, Deep and Tech House eversince.
