Submission of the OST Composition Jam #7.



The type of the Game:

It is a 2D atmospheric platformer (inspiration: GRIS).



Synopsis:

An amnesic little girl, wanting to discover more about her and her origins, begins a journey through a colorful world full of bubbles.



Tracks:

In the Middle of Bubbles
This is the beginning of the journey through this strange world filled with floating and illuminated bubbles . They sound like carillons and seem to lead the little girl through her progression.
Where no Bubble dares to dwell
The little girl lost herself in this damp and dark place where neither light nor bubble are there.  She encounters a strange man that shows her the way out.
Interlude
Origins
The little girl feels that the end of the journey is near and that she will soon find answers to all her questions. The bubbles are all around her, guiding her toward a human shape in the horizon.

Spirit Warden is a narrative puzzle game set in a dystopian future where nature has widely reclaimed its control of world. You play as a spirit, Ashe, who has awoken with no memory of her past. Ashe is tethered to the world only by a soul-bond with a young girl traveling alone with a dog. Compelled by an innate urge to help the child, Ashe accompanies her on the long journey ahead.

Delve Within The Soul - Lucid

In the fantastic world of Blisster, souls (or people) grow as bubbles... yeah !

Every single form of life came to existence as a bubble, and they all wander in the Big Bubble Universe - the Blisster.

The magic part is that these souls actually exist inside and outside of their bubble. They see the world in different perspectives on each side and sometimes meet deep.


The game will take you on a journey which questions how we perceive others.


The concept is that it will be playable a first time throught the inside world. Then a second playthrough would be the same experiences but on the outside world.
As, outside of your bubble, outside of yourself...

Song description :

In this fictive game you'll embody Saul.

 
1 - He'll be exctracted from the Mother Bubble, the Origin, inside his own world, his "bubble"...
It's "fiesta creation!" a lot is going on here to show the innocence and joy of a begining.

2 - Then he will be exploring his thoughts, his feelings, his world.
I tried to evoke a walking/wandering feeling for this one...

3 - This one is ambiguaous. It could be the separation of one self, identity wise i guess, or the rising awareness about the others existing around you.
So I went mixing/clashing several ideas I had to convey this.

4 - This is finding peace, far from Mother Bubble, in your world, and with others :)
Yeah chill piano, couldn't finish this one :'(



PS : The songs/chapters have two potential names depending on the perspective of the game. You're free to interpret !
