An orchestral arrangement of Gretchen Ratke's piano song, "Queen Scarlet's Tango" - Inspired by the character of the same name, in the book series "Wings of Fire," written by the Author Tui T. Sutherland.

Please be aware, this arrangement only contains the first minute of Gretchen's music written for the original song. I created this cut down version to practice orchestrating it. That way when I eventually orchestrate the entire song, I'll be able to go into the project knowing what will, and what will not work. 

Scarlet has always been one of my favorite characters from the books, and Gretchen's song inspired by her as been equally special to me. Because of that, I'd like the finished "real" orchestral arrangement of this song to be the best it can possibly be!

I've recently started reading the popular book series "Wings Of Fire," written by Tui T Sutherland. As I read, I took a liking towards the character of Tsunami. Eventually, she became one of my favourite dragons in the whole of fiction. Soon after this, I uncovered a channel on YouTube named "Music Mommy," and the uploader had composed a completely piano score for Wings of Fire. Included was a theme song written for Tsunami, I listened to it and found it to my liking. It was fitting to the character, it sounded very good and I generally thought it was very well made. However, I felt it was missing something to truly tie it to the fantasy world Wings of Fire is. As of such, with her permission, I created a fantasy oriented remix using an orchestra from GarageBand. 
  
     While I do believe the original would take a real orchestra to top, I did the best I could with what I had. I hope you can enjoy this piece, however I implore you to listen to Music Mommy's original composition and subscribe to her channel. Especially if you like Wings of Fire. I assure you that you will not be disappointed in what you see.

More of an experiment that developed along the way than a designated goal, I wanted to create a soundtrack for the opening chapter of the third book in the Wings of Fire series; The Hidden Kingdom, in the style of PlayStation 2 era video game music. It may seem like a strange idea, but I hope I was able to create something for you to enjoy here. I love the tense ambient feel the opening to this book had, and I wanted to do something to match that, while still being something audiences would appreciate to the best of my abilities.  

More so, this is kind of a 'pilot upload' to see how people respond to it and thus move forward with a related project. Specifically, I want to unofficially score the entire first book as though it were a video game,  this is a prototype to see what I need to work on before starting it. Seeing as of such, please let me know anything you feel could have been done better in this track. Anything from if it felt bland to you, or if it just really didn't feel like something appropriate for wings of Fire to you. Any and all feedback will be taken note of for future reference. Really, I just want to make the best stuff I can.

A jazzy piece of music for a personal soundtrack project, this song was inspired by a classic 'funky evil' sound. 

The sun's light fades away behind the clouds as you tread further into the dark and charred rocky expanse. The ground rumbles with deep and distant volcanic activity. The heavy stench of sulfur fills the air, it is is a vile place. Home to vile things, nightmarish creatures from another world that should not be here... 

You're beginning to understand why you most people do not venture near here.
