French-Canadian producer and live act Christophe Dubé, aka CRi, is a dance music star in the making. 2020 saw the release of his acclaimed debut LP ‘Juvenile’, which won resounding praise from Clash, NME and DJ Mag, and has racked up over 11 million streams to date.  Following the release of his ‘Juvenile (Remixed)’ LP earlier this year, which featured A-list remixes from Gerd Janson, DJ BORING, Jean-Michel Blais and Kornél Kovács, CRi now shares two final reworks from Berlin based producer and Aus Music regular Cinthie and hotly tipped rising talent Olan.

One of the most revered producers and sought after selectors in electronic music, 808 Crystal Grooves label boss and Elevate record store owner Cinthie has provided remixes for some of the biggest names in dance music, including Kerri Chandler, Agoria and Disciples. Marking her debut Anjunadeep release, Cinthie now turns her attention to CRi, remixing album closer ‘Love Spirit’.

LA producer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Olan also marks her first release on the label with her remix of LP hit ‘Never Really Get There’; following the successes of recent Anjunabeats single ‘In Motion’ alongside Nourey and highly praised collaborations with Grammy nominated producer Mat Zo on his 2020 album ‘Illusion of Depth’.

Capping a very special week where Claptone made it onto the main BBC Radio 1 playlist with his Remix for Gregory Porter. Michael Mayer, Purple Disco Machine and Claptone himself now revisit his last single Dear Life.

Back in May, the man with the golden-scooped beak revealed ‘Dear Life’, the first single taken from his debut album ‘Charmer’ (Out Oct 16th). Today we bring you 3 incredible reworkings, featuring Kompakt Recs co-founder and electronic music powerhouse Michael Mayer, super-hot Beatport fav Purple Disco Machine and another special remix from the masked man himself, Claptone. 

The golden scooped beak of Claptone emerges from the darkness with ‘Charmer’, his 13-track debut offering. In the last few years Claptone has become known for releasing big records primed for late nights and packed clubs all over the world. ‘Charmer’ however fuses his signature house sound with a more eclectic aesthetic, featuring guest appearances from Nathan Nicholson (The Boxer Rebellion), Peter, Bjorn & John, Young Galaxy & Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. 

The album will drop following a packed summer touring schedule which will reach all corners of the globe and the run-away success of their remix for Gregory Porter, a tune which has dominated Ibiza this year and was the biggest selling track on Beatport for weeks on end. 

The album also features Claptone’s Beatport chart-topping early singles ‘No Eyes’ & ‘Ghost’, both enormous smashes on essential Berlin house label Exploited. 

While Exploited continues to deliver the club-spinners via Beatport, the album versions will be released via Different Recordings/Pias.
