I am really happy to give away my this years "Christmas Mix" (Number 05). This time I decided to record my DJ Mix in a Club in Germany (Augsburg) called "Kesselhaus" which I really love. Ibiza - the birthplace of modern dance music. 20 years on and the island remains an important catalyst for today’s hottest dance talents. This year, OceanLab, the project featuring Above & Beyond and singer/songwriter Justine Suissa spent several weeks holed up in a villa there finishing their debut album, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’.

Seeped in Balearic brilliance, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ is a mix of blissed out epics and dancefloor cuts. An album of depth, variety and serene beauty, showcasing a level of songwriting and production rarely witnessed within electronic music, and already drawing comparisons with bands such as Zero 7 and Everything But The Girl.

Maximilian Lenz, known by his stage name WestBam, is a German DJ and musician from Germany. He is the co-founder of the record label Low Spirit.
						
Klaus Jankuhn, is a German record producer and musician, considered a pioneer in the early German techno scene. He mostly worked for the artists of the rave label Low Spirit, producing artists such as WestBam, Marusha or DJ Dick. Together with WestBam he also founded the project Members of Mayday.

CLR releases a strictly limited, vinyl only remix EP with three different versions of Chris Liebing´s take on “Lie Down In Darkness” (which owes its title to William Styron’s strange dark novel of the same name) from Moby´s recent studio album “Destroyed”.

“Lie Down In Darkness” has been described as an “achingly soulful track of sublime melancholy and symphonic grandeur”. If you want to know how this will sound, remixed by one of techno´s most sought-after producers of our time, we suggest you to get one of the 1000 vinyl copies of this release. For several obvious reasons, CLR 051 is an extraordinary record and already a collector´s item.

You can also get the full remix bundle including the original album version along with an array of remixes including, among others, Photek, Chris Liebing, Michael Mayer and Paul Van Dyk as a digital download on Moby´s very own label “Little Idiot”.
