EX by Plastikman 

Plastikman, aka @RichieHawtin, recorded EX at the Guggenheim, New York’s iconic art museum. This very special performance was at the invitation of influential Belgium fashion designer and artistic director at Dior, Raf Simons, for the Guggenheim’s annual fundraiser, performed around a specially constructed LED obelisk.

Richie Hawtin explains, “I knew that Raf was a long time Plastikman fan so by accepting his offer to perform at the Dior event at the Guggenheim I knew I’d set myself up to a huge challenge. Although Raf was happy to have the already complete Plastikman Live 1.5 show, I locked myself away in a series of intense studio sessions and quickly recorded enough new material for the performance and realized I might also have enough for a complete new album. The music came out of me effortlessly as I was very inspired by the opportunity to play in this beautiful architectural space renowned more for art than music. The location also allowed me to step far away from the dancefloor, giving me a huge amount of freedom to EXplore any sonic ideas that I had. Art, music, architecture, painting, sculpture – these mediums are supposed to live together.”

Tapesh has been around the block a few times. Growing up in clubs owned by his father and having interest in all types of musical genres has made the multicultural German a true fanatic when it comes to play and produce music. He’s been making music since his teens and never stopped tweaking, improving and looking for new types of genres to produce. The same goes for his dj-ing.

Having released on labels such as Hot Creations, Mobilee, Defected, W&O street tracks, Noir and Suara one can easily tell the variety of musical styles Tapesh has interest in producing. Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Matthias Tanzmann and Anja Schneider, for example, are all fans of that special ‘Tapesh feeling’. That same feeling is what makes the man’s music so well loved.

2016 has already been a good year for Tapesh. He toured through Asia and Brazil in the beginning of this year, played all over Europe (including a b2b all-nighter with Loco Dice) and started his own label called Akulee. Furthermore Tapesh is in the middle of his 4th consecutive residency (4 shows) at United ANTS at Ushuaia.

Tapesh - Planet T

DJ Lucas M já começou na cena há  20 anos, como ouvinte escutando músicas de amigos e  de Djs conhecidos , depois teve uma influência muito grande em Campo Grande/MS, no  Club  D-EGED/MS, do fundador e percursor  da cena elétronica no Brasil, Renato Ratier/Mestre.  Foi embora para São Paulo/SP, e a cena UnderGroundMusic só aumentava,  várias Raves,    D-EGED/SP e festas em apartamentos, era o que mais tinha. Fez um Set de House e um de Minimal, há 10 anos , no SoundCloud.  Lucas  deu uma pausa,  trabalhando com outros interesses, na área da saúde e como  empresário no ramo imobiliário, mas a música sempre foi sua  paixão,  nunca se desligou, não tem como.
