Discovered through the BBC, Tutankhamun is the solo project of British artist Olly Toomey. With ‘New Year’s Resolution’, he wanted to create a simple groove translating a sense of resolution but also of underlying anxiety. With groovy guitars and a laidback drumming, the artist made a track that will ease the mind and create a shelter from negativity, inviting us to take good resolutions and let the good vibes in to our life!

On April 14th Donky Pitch will release the debut album from https://soundcloud.com/lockah. Announced via a stream on Pitchfork in January, 'Yahoo or the Highway' packs 13 tracks into it's 45 minute running time with Lockah's sense of synth driven melody and pop tendencies being weaved into a rich mix of influences, from italo disco to electro, rave to r&b all whilst remaining resoundingly original and unconventional.

'Yahoo or the Highway' follows on from two releases on Donky Pitch as well as EP's on Mad Decent/Jeffreees and Mishka. Lockah runs his own label Tuff Wax based in his hometown of Aberdeen, has remixed Danny Brown, Jaw Jam and LiL TExAS, delivered mixes for the likes of The Fader, featured in The Guardian as well as receiving regular support on BBC radio - including a mix for BBC Introducing.
