Chego aos 29 anos de muitos desafios, conquistas, crescimento e autodescoberta. Cada momento que vivi, cada experiência que passei, fez de mim o que eu sou hoje: alguém determinado em realizar um sonho e eternamente grato aos que somaram de alguma forma até aqui.

A música sempre foi minha companheira fiel, um refúgio que me envolve e traduz a minha essência. É uma conexão sem muita explicação. É algo que só quem sente entende do que eu estou falando.

E é por isso, que nesse dia eu quero presentear a todos com uma track especial, que expressa exatamente a sensação que invade meu peito nessa minha fase da vida: Alegria (JOY).

Hybrid

"ASCENSION" is the debut album release from artist ston, an independently released project. 

For Ascension, I set out to explore hard house, bassline, and electronic elements throughout.

This body of work means a lot to me; it took up six months of my life and taught me so much about music production. It also taught me the importance of committing to what you set out to achieve and the struggles that can come with that. Most importantly, it showed me that imperfection is okay when the alternative is procrastination.

I created this album using the DAW FL Studio, and as of its release, I’ve begun transitioning to Ableton, a commitment I set for myself when I first began this project.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that moving forward, I want to dive into more intricate ideas and trust my creative process without falling into the trap of comparing my work to others. I’m eager to experiment with more abstract percussions, deeper emotional progressions, and unconventional grooves. It’s going to be a journey, but I’m excited for it to begin.
