Wunderblock is an experimental techno project from Moscow, Russia. Three masterminds met up to create something new, all adding their different spice to the soup. Michael Teploff is known from the late 90's for his Ill Doggy project (Salo Records, Berlin), and as one half of Multipliar (together with Anton Kubikov a.k.a. SCSI-9 on the infamous Cologne imprint Trapez). In 2008 Michael has teamed up with producers Igor Ivanov and Vladimir Kochenov to push his own limits.

The result coming out of this creative pool is not only proof of outstanding handicraft skills, but also the combination of several disparate sources of influence, far beyond the expected techno heroes. Pioneer composers within art music as well as film scores and visual artists have all played an indirect role in forming Wunderblock sound - an eclectic mix of techno, house and dub with a touch of ambience and a jazzy feel. The use of not only synths and drum-machines, but also live instruments like acoustic and electric guitars, live percussion and wind instruments, adds to the organic flavour.

In 2013 Wunderblock Records label was launched, and now it’s fully packed with high quality underground techno releases, vinyl [WRLTD] and digital [WR], that are supported by the top techno DJ’s worldwide. Now the label roster includes such producers and remixers as Synthek, Mas Teeveh, Deepbass, Takaaki Itoh, Brendon Moeller, Arnaud Le Texier, Hail Blk, Energun, Arcuation, Korben Nice, Alessan Main, Beat Movement, Andrei Oid, Lazyfish, Alex Schultz, Relic Radiation, Hideyoshi, Kryss Hypnowave, Mudrost, Steam, Code 701 and more.

Wunderblock played at many venues in Russia, and now they have started to rock Berlin with their hyperintensive techno sets at Tresor, Void Club and more. Also they are currently planning the series of the Label Showcases in Europe.

This months guest is another artist that i really admire. Playing his tracks and remixes since many months: Leandro Gamez.

Since the late 90s, Leandro has been an important part of the Spanish Techno scene.
Releases on Ongaku Musik and Fieber Records under his alias "cio", but also on labels such as Primate, Intec, Planet Rhythm and Primevil made him a prominent producer.

Besides that he also plays live performances as "UnCUT" and owns the label "SUB tl", both with his partner HD Substance.

In recent years most of which has been with his residency Jaded held at Corsica Studios every Sunday, where he has proven his capability to play for hours and with his consistency to perform each time with a unique, forward thinking set. 
He carries reputation for never the same set twice, is a strong supporter of new music and couldn't be further away from the relentless anthem bashers. 
He has always believed in underground music and his belief is that techno should push forward, not become a hit parade. 
His art has seen him travel for gigs in places like Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Mannheim, Ibiza, Malta. 
As well as Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol and other UK cities.
