Something about our second mix in the series feels like it was recorded in a Chicago warehouse in the early 90s and only recently unearthed from the archives. It simultaneously takes us back while staying present and forward thinking.

Aguila supplies us with an hour long mix, dotted with acid basslines, inspiring vocals, and progressive melodies throughout.

"The selections were inspired where I was last year and also inspired by a party I played at as well. Last summer was a hard time and I pivoted more towards techno to cope (especially the more melodic Detroit sounding-kind; hope for the future) and proper tech house for those all-out-dance moments. A lot of these also inspired an upcoming EP out soon.

All of these tracks essentially were what I was listening to at the moment, alongside a heavy dose of 90s R&B. Very much “in-my-feelings” sorta time, hahaha. I’m sure it definitely comes out towards the beginning of the mix."
