Just a response to the Capital riot. I usually am not good at political songs and this one just kind of came out of me. So far I generally detest the songs I've heard that point to our political climate. I find them lazily written with all of the key words of "white supremacists" and "fascist" and name dropping Trump. Maybe throwing in a pandering BLM for good measure. Even if they're well intentioned... I don't know I just find it lazy since we're bombarded with these terms all of the time I just wanna hear something new.

Wrote this for all the girls (or any person) out there staying in a relationship with a boring ass dude who doesn't treat them well just because it's easier and they've put in a lot of time to the relationship and feel stuck. I've heard tell of these types of pairings from friends to coworkers. Maybe this is the song they need to hear. Maybe it's the song YOU need to hear!
