Chief welcomes a new face to the Chief Recordings family, the upcoming French artist Murvin Sound is making his debut with a fresh EP. The EP is called “Deep In the UDG” and contains 2 original tracks and 3 remixes by Yenk, Hausick, DJOKO & Prune Flat.
Murvin Sound is a 25 years old French dj and producer from Lyon. Firstly involved in the Dub scene, it is trough House Music that he now accomplishes himself as a Dj and Producer. Deeply inspired by early underground US house and garage, but also by the UK and European scene. His productions have already been released on imprints such as Love Not Money Records or Tunisian label Underground Source Records. Murvin Sound is also a JALIB (Just A Little Beat) resident Dj.
The first track of the EP is called “Deep In the UDG”, a groovy house track with some solid deep vibes and vocals.
The Spanish producer Yenk provided a heavy stomping “Deeping In the UDG” remix with a lot of energy, perfect for bringing your house party to a new level.
Secondly we have DJOKO & Prune Flat teaming up for their interpretation of “Deep In the UDG”, which turned out to be a funky old school house version.
On the flipside Murvin Sound delivers the track “No No No”. Punchy kick, solid bass and sweet vocals are the ingredients for a great house track.
Finally we have Hausick providing a remix for “No No No”. The producer from Tunisia delivered an awesome deep underground version with great atmospheric pads and a cool groove.
