It's done. One of the most powerful mixes we've had the pleasure to record so far is in the can. 

We are proud to present our Flow Mix, which is a cross section of our last three years of downtempo with a pinch of reminiscence. On board are many of our own productions, which we are finally proud to show the world in one big mix. 
Much of the style of Dj mixes we represent today may not be immediately recognisable in it. But we still keep familiar principles, because the essence is always the same: the emotion, the smirk and of course grooves for days!
The journey starts quietly and with deep sound and gains momentum as it goes on. 
It ends as it begins: with guitars. The full circle.

Gewagt & Maßgeschneidert are two best friends and young German DJs from Halle and Magdeburg who express their passion for music predominantly through Downtempo. Moving the beats usually between 90 to 110 BPM, they create a deep dark atmosphere with oriental influences. Nevertheless, their love for electronic music includes House and Techno up to 128 BPM aswell.

For three years Gewagt & Maßgeschneidert have been collecting experiences turning the tables in different clubs and tiny festivals. Right now the DJ-duo is about to take their first steps towards production of their own tracks.
Finally is to mention that their journey is just about to start.

Madd Rod is an electronic music rebel whose passion for his craft stems from an inextinguishable curiosity and an affair with the cultural diversity around him. 

Born and raised in Lisbon, he was from a young age influenced by the blend of traditional and modern elements he found within the city.

In this mix, he confronts the need to tame ambiguous poles of his persona: allowing the alter ego and the man to coexist and engage together in a (re)visit to the past — through the future. 

Committed to the desire to break all rules, Madd Rod takes the role of the narrator, turning the obscure and the wild into parts of an urban myth.

✍️ Außergewöhnliche Erfahrungen können äußerst prägend wirken. Manchmal sind sie so überwältigend, dass wir für eine gewisse Zeit den alltäglichen Trott komplett vergessen. Dann befinden wir uns in einer ganz besonderen Sphäre des Seins. Voller Enthusiasmus und Tatendrang bewegen wir Dinge und krempeln unser Leben um. Doch diese motivierende Erfahrungs-Energie flacht irgendwann ab. Die Bonus-Power löst sich langsam auf und persönliche Kraftanstrengung wird wieder vermehrt benötigt. Was bleibt ist die Leichtigkeit und das Wissen um das Wie. Ist die Entscheidung für das Leben in Fülle gefallen, kommt alles andere wie von selbst.

Unsere heutige Ausgabe entführt ins in die Schweiz zu Don Son, welchen wir bereits seit seinen Anfängen kennen und zu schätzen wissen. Sein Sound besticht aus einer Mischung aus verspielt organischen und treibenden Momenten, die somit jedem Raum zum Träumen und Tanzen geben. Sein für uns eingespieltes Set im XXL Format, vermittelt einen tollen Eindruck des oben beschriebenen und glänzt mit tollen Übergängen, sowie mit einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre. Einer Stimmung, die einer Afterhour voll und ganz gerecht wird.

✔️ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

Meine musikalischen Einflüsse sind weitreichend und ungebunden. Grundsätzlich fahre ich schon eine emotionale Schiene, da mir der Ausdruck der Gefühle immer sehr wichtig war, sei es durch Texte oder Melodien. Unmöglich, das in wenigen Worten zu konkretisieren. Auf der anderen Seite hat mich amerikanischer Hip Hop aus den 90ern und 2000ern sehr geprägt, ich rappte sogar selber für über 10 Jahre. Wir haben heute noch ein riesen Vergnügen in die über 1000 aufnahmen reinzuhören.

✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Auf alle Fälle Spass. Die richtige kombination aus Menschen, die eine tolle Synergie ergeben, und sich auch für ein wenig Schabernack nicht zu schade sind. Und selbstverständlich der passende Soundtrack, was aber kein bestimmter Stil sein muss, wenns passt, dann passts. Obst und Tee schadet auch nicht.

✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Ich freue mich bereits seit einem Jahr auf den Tag der veröffentlichung. Natürlich ist das ein schöner Moment, zumal ich den Channel schon viele Jahre verfolge und deren Diversität sehr schätze. Mir war wichtig, ein paar eigene Tracks einzubauen, und drumherum eine Geschichte aufzubauen. Eine Mischung aus emotionalem, organischem Indie Dance entstand.

navegar entre estilos em suas apresentações, mostrando
que possui uma tracklist diferenciada.
Possui como referência artistas no calibre de Facundo
Mohr, Steve Bug, Nic Fanciulli, Joris Voorn, Albuquerque e
Harry Romero.

Hoje atua como Dj residente da festa Big Fish, um dos
núcleos mais tradicionais e famosos de música
underground em Curitiba.
Também tem se destacado em lives na Twitch,
incrementando efeitos visuais em suas exibições.
