Beltran and Harvy Valencia team up for their label debut on Hot Creations, unveiling a slick collaboration alongside solo cuts on their three-track ‘Origins’ EP.

Bursting onto the scene as standout talents, Brazilian Beltran and Colombian Harvy Valencia are quickly becoming globally recognised figures in their own right. coming from a small town in méxico i grew around a macho man environment. i was even kicked out of school for not trimming down my hair because "i was not a girl".

around that time my mom had a relationship with this guy who'd talk about the "proper" way of going to the strip club, and take pride in having various households he'd support because "his women weren't supposed to work". yet he'd had all these fucked up traumas and insecurities, and the more you'd known him the more you'd realize what a coward he was.

this song was for him. i wanted to immortalize him as the title describes. tho i judged their care for each other harshly. i was angry and couldn't understand why he'd be in our lives. regardless of who he was, he'd be a different person to us while he was there.

A regular and long-time member of the Solid Grooves family, whilst also releasing via notable labels including Deeperfect, Stereo Productions, Roush and Moan, the Spaniard now makes his label debut on Dennis Cruz & Eddy M's burgeoning MÜSE imprint as he delivers two slick cuts in the form of his 'Gate' EP.

Title track 'Gate' opens the package with authority as hard-hitting kicks meet rumbling sub-bass, distorted vocal hooks and resonant synth stabs, whilst the lively 'Last Night' employs skipping percussion arrangements and a rolling bassline beneath further vocal work and icy hats to shape up an impressive debut by the rising Spaniard.
