Up & Away was written in 2020 in Los Angeles and Oakland, California by Meaghan and her eccelctic team of collaborators including Joel Van Dijk, Mars Today and Siaira Shawn of Over Everything. This song holds the story of past or present love and expressions of adoration and frustration. In the Fall of last year Meaghan and her band recorded a live performance of the song at Wally's Hydeout in the Tenderloin.
