I recently have been increasingly drawn to the piano as a main composing vehicle to express a calmer emotion. This song was recorded on a large upright felt piano to capture the emotional, intimate and tender tones of a gentle sunrise.

My grandfather used to say, ‘When you see the castle on the hill, you know you’re home.’ However, home is not always so easy to define. It can be the place where you were born or where you live. It doesn’t have to be just one place. Sometimes, it’s a person who makes you feel at home. But no matter where home is, the feeling is always the same. This is what home feels like to me.

'Inner Compass' is a journey through the emotional world within. The pieces are inspired by places and the emotions I associate with them. The Inner Compass leads the way through it all.

I´m glad you found me and making music is the best I know.
When I composed the album "The River" & "The River Reworked" I tried to make sense of the beauty when melody and harmony interact and with the wish that this will affect the listener.
I wrote it to put into sound that which cannot be expressed through words.

To explore the melodies that flow in my veins.
