Over Christmas 2014 I needed a break from recording
my album, searching online for a song I recalled from
my youth, I fell into a rabbit hole of thousands of
YouTube playlists and posts, rediscovering the songs
my friends and I would gather and listen to as
13 & 14 yr olds every Saturday in East Berlin on Radio DT64
(now Berlin's Radio Fritz).

I stumbled back to the future, collecting over 5000 songs
on YouTube, learning for the first time the artists behind
the songs we heard almost 25 years ago.

The forthcoming trilogy is the result of 18 month
of building edits from YouTube recordings and stitching
them together off-line. I could not include every song,
nor indeed even the entire tracks from this small period
until 1993, so this is my personal history of electronic
music arriving in Berlin.

This trilogy will not be sold, it was a labor of love,
born of nostalgia and made for sharing.

Our world of music came together in sadness following the passing of Linkin Park band member Chester Bennington, who tragically ended his own life. Immediately upon the conclusion of the first weekend of Tomorrowland, the news motivated Markus Schulz towards paying tribute in his own fashion, with an emotive and melancholic remix of the classic In the End, and would be presented through the most recent Global DJ Broadcast, and on Tomorrowland's second weekend outing. A beautiful moment shared with the audience in attendance and those around the world watching, Markus offers this remix available as a free download to everyone. 

Regarding the remix, Markus says:
 
"Linkin Park was a big influence towards my music early in my career. The news of Chester's death, and the manner of it, shook me; and I wanted to pay tribute in the only way I know how. Whilst it will never equal the impact of the original, the spirit of Chester's music must be shared and celebrated."

Nacido en Argentina en 1978, crecio en Punta alta su ciudad natal. Luchoo Drs es un DJ y productor que comienza su carrera musical a los 15 años en bandas de Rock & Roll y Blues. A su primera banda The Palan Ganas Blues, le da el toque especial con los sonidos en teclados. Paso por varias bandas hasta que en el 2000 descubre la música electrónica y hasta hoy no se ha separado de ella. Viajo hacia España en el 2006 donde comienza su carrera como Dj
 Su estilo musical es variado pero con las bases del Techno y el Eletro House.
 Su experiencia nacional e internacional en distintos generos de la música electrónica y su exquisita selección musical hacen de él un Dj conectado a lo que sucede en la pista.
