This is the dj set I made in Copenhagen on August 27th 2022 to close the Tribunen  Stage of Karrusel Fest after Kerala Dust. A very special selection for a truly a magical night that I won't forget ✨ 

The tracks naturally took their place in the mix as the set was going forward. Despite the distance between the stage and the dancefloor, the atmosphere was electric and I could feel so much energy in the air🖤 

Since I was the last artist to perform on that stage on the last day of the festival, I made a clearly crossover set, from 103 to 123bpm, mixing some of my favourite tracks from the last 15 years, at least

No reservations, Scrounger Nr. 128.,  thats going to be so tight. Yeah, yeah YEAH!!!

Wir begrüßen Damian in unserer etwas anderen musikalischen Reihe der harmonischen, späten Stunde. Kein Tam, tam. Keine Posaune und Trompette. Dafür mehr Trap und Hip Hop. Ja Mann, genau so mögen wir es. Wer kann das schon von sich behaupten? Scrounger….What??? Yes!

Die Rede ist von Damian aka „SCROUNGER“, der in und um Köln, nämlich laut und leise, äh Laut und Luise mäßig, sein Unwesen treibt und die Herzen der Alterno-Houser hoch hält. Gekonnt lässig lädt er uns mit seiner „Stunde nach der Stunde“ zum Abschalten des Hier und Jetzt ein. Ja genau, hier und jetzt. Und zwar JETZT UND HIER. Also Ohren AUF und... entspannen. Ein klasse Track jagt dem Nächsten… nein keine Übertreibung, keine Überraschung sondern klassisches „jörgsches Statement“ der Extraklasse.

Damian… dein von Dir eingespielter Cast ist eine Ode an den Ursprung der 4/4-Rythmik, nämlich dem (Punk) Rap, welcher tiefenentspannt und zugleich unterschwellig treibend zum meditativen Tanztraum einlädt. (Fast) Kein House, kein Techno und kein Acid + World Music Gedöns.  Es lebe der Rap, Marcin Gortat und Jörg. Äh SCROUNGER.

Wir danken Dir vielmals für diesen harmonischen, musikalischen Exkurs ins Ambient und dem Rap. Dein Set ist eine wundervolle, !afterhourreske! Geschichte geworden die Wir nicht missen möchten und definitiv über unsere Grenzen hinaus Herzen erobern wird. Wenn Unikat, dann Hier. Chapeu.

Wir sind zum Ausziehen entzückt.

This collage is build around four tracks  from one of my favorite german bands CAN and one track from Holger Czukay a member of CAN. The drumming from Jaki Liebezeit was and is so brilliant and unique, the whole band was a magic combination and I love the fantasy english lyrics :-)My selected tracks are recorded in the seventies but still hot and timeless good . Most of the other tracks are also from earlier days but always up to date for my taste, enjoy the journey the Future Past Now :-)

Kris & Mascha tienen una larga experiencia en la selección de música electrónica, muestra de ello es su programa de radio LIEBE el cual suena cada miércoles en radio aire libre. Para este viaje dejamos a un lado las percusiones, los shakers y los elementos “orgánicos” del Downtempo para adentrarnos a aquellas texturas clubbing que nos ofrece la noche. Más allá del dancefloor, cuando el alba viene y es hora de partir, existen lugares en donde el tiempo se detiene y la fiesta se extiende por eones, como si del mismo tiempo se tratase. Ahí dónde la fiesta continua sin preocupaciones; el after [party]: Kris Berle & Mascha son las reinas. En este capítulo nos alejamos de los “orgánico” y nos adentramos en las oscuras (pero suaves) aguas del “slowrave”, una fina selección de tracks hechos para bailar y contemplar los brillos y las nostalgias de la noche. Respirar las despedidas y asimilar los nuevos comienzos. Disfruta de este viaje trascendental de una hora con treinta y un minutos.
