This is a long time coming. Thanks to all my friends and the people who make The Lodge happen every single year. It is without a doubt one of the most impactful musical events of my life... every single year. This mix was inspired by a desire to "emotionally pre-game" the dancing. There's some longing, some excitement, some statements of purpose, and ultimately like every performance at the lodge it's an ode to my love for that place, those people, and the time outside of time. 🌴 SESSION XVII — HAVANA NOCTURNA  

Step into the rum-stained elegance of twilight Havana. “Havana Nocturna” evokes a sultry Caribbean evening filled with nonverbal coro-style hums, breathy solo phrases, and whispered Spanish tokens like *luna*, *mar*, and *brisa*. Layers of nylon guitar, Rhodes keys, congas, soft trumpet echoes, and distant street sounds swirl beneath a paper-lantern glow.

This session draws from Cuba’s twilight lounge scene—its faded façades, drifting cigar smoke, and humid romantic stillness. It’s about memory, mood, and rhythm... not nostalgia, but a slow-burning heartbeat under pastel skies.

This is the blue "Mixtape" album, with original and varied music I created based on the numerous styles and artists I loved and enjoyed all my life (Especially in the 90s). This is a mix between trip hop, downtempo, beautiful melodies and textures, extraordinary voices. 
I wanted that mixtape feeling with several artists, all the music you love on only one support.

The blue mixtape is the smoother of the two, the end of the day enjoyable music. From alternative UK music roots to singers with an unbelievable voice, with some ambient and melodic DnB... 

And if you can find my red mixtape, it's the one with all the energy!

This is by far the pair of albums I'm the most proud of, mostly because I could mix so many genres and it was a true challenge that considerably improved my workflow. But the most important is: I've been extremely happy to enjoy all my youth again.

And yes, the actual mixtape might become true, I still have an audio tape recorder and a walkman...
