December is written and lead by multi-instrumentalist, Jeff Smith. Thus, it marks a stylistic departure from the band’s orchestral origins, featuring a minimalistic overture that eases into a delicate piano riff in the minor key. 

Layered with ethereal female harmonies including singer/songwriter Milly Hirst, Jeff’s unaffected vocals cut deep into the marrow, sublime in their simplicity. December ascends through the angular drums of latest band member, Alex Mackenzie - whose trip-hop beat accents the trumpet / violin contrapuntal melodies into a maudlin, macabre Mariachi march.

Recently collaborating with Miami's own Digital LAB, DJ/Producer and contributor to Kaskade's Grammy nominated album MITS returns to Neon Records alongside young talented Melbournian Marcus Santoro for “You & I” (feat. Courtney Brianna).

Kaskade premiered MITS' single with Digital LAB on Ultra Music Festival's infamous Main Stage earlier this year, rumoured to have had a hand in Raddon's mix of Galantis and completing official mix duties for Denzal Park, there's no doubting Steve's skills are sharper than ever.

Marcus Santoro made his debut on Neon Records with collaborative single “Open Your Eyes”, with a list of international supporters that includes Nicky Romero, Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko and John Dahlback (to name a few), young Marcus continues to prove why he's definitely one to watch.

“You & I” (Pt. I) includes MITS Alternative / Lexer / Jordan Burns / Craz-E mixes.
