Dear music lovers (:

As you may know, PAL closed its doors on January the 2nd, with its last party, its last Kinky Sundays…

I felt a bittersweet mix of feelings when I first heard that the club was going to close…. 

On the one hand, a great sadness to know that we will no longer have this place, which gave us so many unforgettable nights, in which countless talented artists from all over the world played.

On the other hand, I felt an enormous sense of gratitude for having been part of some of those crazy and beautiful nights, behind the decks, feeling that ecstasy that music gives you when you connect with others through it! 

I was so lucky to have the chance to play there one more time before the club in Karolinnenstraße is gone forever. 

When preparing my set, I thought, this is like a love letter to the club.. A club that gave me so much during these years of my life in Hamburg, not only musically, and professionally but on the personal level.. 

If you’re curious, here is a peace of it! A love letter to the club... 

-Unfortunately, incomplete, because of course, like everything bad that can happen will happen, as the saying goes, my memory stick ran out of capacity in the middle of my set!- 

BUT at least an hour of it got recorded and it’s up for you to listen to!

The sun was rising and people were starting to get closer to the dance floor as I was starting to play the first songs. 

The atmosphere was just perfect... Good vibes, beautiful people, a flawless sunrise and that feeling of togetherness that music triggers... 

As I was standing behind the decks and watching this moment, I was saying to myself: remember this moment, remember this people, remember this feeling...! 

There are not so many places anymore, where you breathe such a unique and joyful atmosphere. And I believe that a big part of that is thanks to all the hard work, dedication and love brought together from the entire team to achieve this purpose... Making this place a safe place for everyone. To enjoy themselves, to dance to the music and simply be who they are!

Thanks for letting me be part of this! For many more!

One of the most special gigs I played!

The energy of this place is really something else..! From the moment I entered Wintergarten I was tickled all over.

Being in the middle of that crowd, surrounded by people with such a vibrant energy was ecstatic. Those 3 hours went by in a flash and felt almost surreal…

Thanks to all who became part of that moment! It was such a pleasure!

Lucia Scholtus:
Hailing from Santa Fe, Argentina, Lucia always felt a deep connection to music. Almost 10 years of ballet, neoclassical & lyrical dance deepened her understanding of rhythm, expression & musical flow.
Lucia’s journey into dance music got started when she realized her passion lay in creating that shared, immersive, almost cathartic experience found on the dance floor. In 2015 after she made her debut in her hometown, Santa Fe, she quickly made her way to Buenos Aires, where she started playing not only in the capital, but all over the country.    
Swaying within a wide array of dance music genres, from House & Disco to Jackin, Ghetto, Garage & Techno, she brings old-school gems to the floor, creating unique music journeys  between soulful grooves & driving rhythms.

Her distinct sound, influenced by the scene of Detroit & Chicago, has brought her to some of the best clubs across Argentina, Uruguay Germany & Spain.

Since moving to Hamburg in 2019, she’s become a mainstay at esteemed venues like Südpol, Übel & Gefährlich, PAL, Golden Pudel, Mojo Jazz & performed at legendary underground spots in Berlin like Sisyphos, Heideglühen, Golden Gate, and most recently at one of the most respected and influential festivals in Germany, FUSION. 

During all these years she had the pleasure to share decks with house & techno icons such as Cassy, Roman Flügel, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Boris Dlugosh, Ellen Allien, Helena Hauff, Sedef Adasï, St. David, Dennis Cruz, Los Suruba, Amelie Lens, Kolombo, among others. 

Following the release of her debut EP on Heattraxx Records, and with an upcoming release on Houseworx, she’s diving into her next projects, pushing her limits, always eager to satisfy her hunger for music.
