If I get any sleep at all it's probably not in my own bed
Closing my eyes at the time my alarm is set
Bent over a dream, rest adjacent in the grave
Can't imagine how many hours insomnia has saved
It's sunrise tragedy, our time is shrinking rapidly
I'd weave baskets of agony for you to leave this galaxy
Blast off, it's practically outdated like the cavalry
Headless horsemen even throws vehicles in his salary

Wake up, take a shower, go to work, back home
Cook it up, take a shit, and fall asleep alone 

And time drips
Lakes form a mold around your feet
Drowning in his past until he sinks too deep
He tries to swim, but, silly him I've replaced the fins
Couldn't touch the oxygen before the lights went dim
Anchor attachment has him begging for a breath
But soon he figured fighting was less important than rest
Side of the mattress will continue to be my seat
Sit still the years don't change a single thing about the beast 
I've got something to dread about the future
Clock in 
See another boss I'd like to neuter 
Well, my coffee cup still isn't empty
I've got a truck and not arriving seems too tempting
Here it is 
The sunrise is depressing 
The world around me slowly starts to infect me
I need to find another way to dig around the difference

I’ve heard a rapper say to stay away from making music, ain’t nothing but a confusing mess
But I need to take the other side, no offense, making music is the only thing to me that’s making any sense
I’ve got a shitload of questions and not enough answers
I’ve got guardian angel that’s been on break 
She's taking too long
Now I'm running out of songs
Each one a different way to describe the same thing: a feeling not done justice by words
Thought language scattered in the mind it's very hard to translate it
Looking in the eyes to break it
Puzzles in the iris make it easier to figure out what you're really telling me
And I could never know for sure
But I'm scraping away the bullshit until my thumbs are raw
You take what makes sense and make a mess of it as if life isn't confusing enough!
Well, all you're really doing here is adding on stress to the few that choose to settle with you
You've got me handling demands like a bomb threat
Play by your rules or go be someone else's fool
Life... this is what it is:
I've stepped into a blind game of pinning tails on pigs!
Make money or die with nothing else to prove you lived
And what we have is fucking nothing in front of actual intelligence

So certain that you're skeptic 
Space is only dark where the stars aren't detectives yet you still hide skeletons like classified specimen 
Snub nose is sub rosa hidden like the rest of men

Standing in the sand only to realize that my imprints would vanish like Pluto to planets
Outlandish like spaceships 
Give it to the bandit 
He saps skulls and hand delivers them to black holes
Spending my attention on three dimensions
Emphasizing empathetic étiquette 
And death was my sentence, tampering with modified genetics
Smudges don't blend with a cleansed lens 
Now, sprint quick as probability allows or break boundaries and leave every astrophysicist with work to do
Study the universe I'm working through
Life resonates and moves to my super nova circus tunes
I observed with skepticism 
Their retrospect driven by cause and effect while I'm vexed by perplexity in every speck dissected
A butterfly effect and this world is a reflection of it
Hover above it like I'm separating my angle
Analyze the puppets like my strings are untangled 
Of course I want to change how we've made life out to be
I'm tied trying to find solutions out like alchemy

I see the bodies waking up
I smell the chemicals discussed
It blocks the most of my musts
I hung my trust in disgust and saw myself become the monstrous
Now I can't even trust myself...
