Recently, Lucid Echo set out to kick off the new year with a brand new single, “Initiation.” The track stands out as a really great example of Lucid Echo’s creative approach to composition, morphing throughout the duration of the song and exploring different ideas and harmonic textures. From thick distorted guitar riffs and pounding drums, to lush arpeggio and synthesizer melodies.

Lucid Echo is a music project from New London, CT. Its sound is all about combining blistering guitar riffs with heavy drums and progressive arrangements, tipping the hat off to artists such as Meshuggah, The Mars Volta, or Baroness, only to mention but a few.

One of the most distinctive perks of Lucid Echo’s sound is the striking attention to detail encountered in the production of the music. The guitar sounds are meticulously crafted and the song structures and transitions are balanced and awe-inspiring.
