my latest tune. heres how i made it. first i took the stems zedd gave out, and then i chopped them into little pieces. then i took those pieces and i put them together until it looked kind of like zedd, kind of like me. then i took that animal and i chained it up in a cage and closed the lid. then i waited 24 hours. this is what was there when i opened the cage. 

but in all honesty, this was probably the most ambitious remix ive ever done. i wanted to change the chords that were used throughout, so i had to copy the moog sound and the hypersaw/string/whatever lead pad sound from scratch. after that was done and getting the chord progressions solid it was pretty much a piece of cake!

Zedd - Spectrum (Lucidity Studios Remix)

When I write my music I like to have a story that goes along with it, something to inspire me. When I started this track I had just found out that my car clutch was shot and that fixing it would deplete my life savings. For a little bit I had that feeling where your chest feels like it weighs a thousand pounds and like it weighs nothing at the same time. That's what got me started making this song. But my car is fixed now and running fine :) and my bank account is slowly (oh so slowly) making a comeback. 

 I made it at 135 bpm so it would make a nice transition between some 128 - 130 bpm electro house and the classic 140 dubstep. I've found that I usually just bring it up or down to whatever bpm im working with and just stick with it there... whatev.

This track went through soooo many stages before I finished it. I started this one early summer and then just this last week I scrapped it and started over completely. Hated it and started over again. Still might make some changes though. 

As for the name, the day I started this piece in the summer, that morning, I woke up and said, "Ten Seas Master" to myself. I have no idea where this came from. Idk if anyone else just randomly spits out unrelated words when they wake up, probably not. I guess I'm just wierddd.
