We reach our 200th show and helping me celebrate with her guest mix in the 2nd hour it’s Mandy van Dorten who’s from Berlin.She started DJ-ing in 1999 and producing in 2011. Her dynamic and unique style is influenced by old school classics and melodic techno. She has DJ’d at many popular clubs and festivals in Germany and for the past 7 years has held a residency at Berlin’s Kitkat Club. Now she is spending more time in the studio,working on new productions and collaborations.

She’s the owner and creator of Loud By Design Bookings DJ agency and once an employee of London’s infamous Kinetec Records. Since 1996 she’s made a name as one of the most talented and versatile free party and underground DJ's around. She celebrates 20 years in music management this year having started as the booking agent for the legendary Liberator DJ’s (Chris, Aaron and Julian). A party pirate who’s rinsed the hell out of underground music and parties since the dawn of day!

Em 2019 B4RBRA se viu sozinha na mais profunda escuridão, no meio do Deserto do Atacama. Ela tinha à disposição a Via Láctea e diversas constelações que normalmente não consegue ver com as luzes da cidade onde mora.  Anos mais tarde, B4RBRA estava em um momento de bloqueio criativo e garimpava samples. Quando ouviu "Stars can't shine without darkness" (estrelas não podem brilhar sem a escuridão) imediatamente lembrou-se do Atacama e soube que precisava transformar essa mensagem em música. A escuridão tende a ser sempre vinculada a algo negativo, à dificuldade, ao medo (quem nunca teve medo de escuro?), mas sem ela como podemos ver as estrelas? É sobre ter coragem e se permitir viver a escuridão para poder enxergar as estrelas. "Hidden Stars" é cheia de energia como a coragem que nos faz vencer medos, ao mesmo tempo em que é melódica e emocional, como os momentos em que contemplamos as estrelas e planetas que nos fazem companhia.  Para seu remix, L_cio quis valorizar o vocal e a base pesada da música, inserindo também novos timbres com o sintetizador Vermona Monolancet.  Lutgens também quis valorizar o vocal em seu remix, adicionou timbres de 909 e recortou o synth principal dando um outro groove para ele.
