The German Peruvian-rooted DJ and music producer Sebastian Gabriel edited one of the most well-known Ennio Morricone's themes: 'The Ecstasy of Gold', a musical composition sung by Edda Dell'Orso and originally created as part of Ennio' score for the 1966 Sergio Leone film 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. In fact, Sebastian begun the edition project before Ennio died in 2020, however, always amazed by the beauty and epicness of this song he decided to finish the 'work in progress' by creating his own contemporary version, that's what you'll get on this 7th single-edit, truly dedicated to Ennio; may he rest in peace.

007 Ennio Morricone — Ecstasy Of Gold (Sebastian Gabriel Edit)

'Lorenzo De Blanck's new single 'This Is Acid' on Moon Harbour is sure to be a perfect weapon to unleash when we finally get together once more on dance floors this summer. It arrives a little under a year on from his last on the label and is another fine outing from the Italian house tastemaker.

In normal times, Lorenzo De Blanck spends his weekends playing Europe's most prominent parties, from the basement of Sankeys to the main floor at Amnesia via supersized festivals such as Kappa and Movement in his homeland. He is also known for his own cultured Simple party in Italy and is a lifelong vinyl addict who has found a home on Flashmob and Saved Records and, during lockdown, played Beatport's celebrated ReConnect stream.

The excellent 'This Is Acid' bristles with pent up energy from the off. Raw synths twist and turn over snappy drums and crisp hi hats, and the steamy female vocals repeats the title to alluring effect. That well designed acid line is warm and wonky as it weaves its way in and out of the drums, and is sure to make the dance floor sweat.

With this new missive, Lorenzo De Blanck proves he has been as creative as ever during this challenging last year.'

Hey Everyday Party People, this is Lucky Brown with that underground sound.

Born Seattle, WA  musical influences started with typical Pop radio, heavy on Motown and R&B while dancing with Mom in the living room.  Summers basement sessions in the 80’s, with my Uncles, rocking out to the best Classic Rock... And then with my Pop!  He gave me that special schooling on Soul music and what makes a groove.
Just out of college in ‘97, and barely fuckin’ around on some belt drive Gemini turntables, an old friend introduced me to House Music, and took me to my first "underground" dance club.  That first time I really knew I was hearing House, it was Doc Martin!...Second show, Jeno!!!
I had loved music and been dancing all my life, but I never moved like that before… Had never experienced that ecstatic camaraderie of oneness on a dance floor that House music can create.

Cried my eyes out right on the dance floor.  Bought a pair of Technic turn tables a few weeks after that, and still rockin' 'em 26 years later!

I've been thankful to have had residencies over the years at a few spots in Seattle and Hawaii.  My favorite parties have always been the intimate outdoor renegade events, Full-Moons, Beachsides, and Hill tops!
Now residing with my wife Hope DeLaney on our cloud flower farm near Volcano, Hawaii .
