This song is made as an offering to a Dark God. 

To me, the gods are symbolic representations. Rather than real entities, they are ritualized names for the many forces which influence our lives. Lucifuge Rofocale, the Lord of Darkness, represents the limitations of our perception and the inaccuracies of language. He is the leap of faith we all must take when we assume a world-view as well as all of the ways in which that view is flawed. He symbolizes the idea that gender, money, religion, and many other aspects of society are just cultural inventions with no basis in reality. He is the willful folly of using religion to find meaning while knowing it's a lie. He is:

“The Lovers (R)” normalcy of love and abuse. It is ruled by Mad Love. The desperation of sexual addiction. Walking the tightrope between obsession of another and welcoming the destruction from within. Self involved intimacy and domination. The repetition of the cycle of abuse. The need for normalcy without knowing what is normal.
