REGGAE RIVER VOL.2 - MIXTAPE 2017

To kick off 2019, we welcome Jannali for the third edition of the Dancehall Fusion mixtape series.
The Australian-born DJ is the selector and co-founder of the notorious Geneva-based Little Lion Sound alongside Nico, the MC and other half of the crew. Together, they’ve been promoting reggae music all over Europe since 2007. They created Evidence Music label with Derrick Sound in 2013 and have gained a solid reputation with time. Big news, they are currently working on their first album project, and just came back from Jamaica with a whole heap of big tunes.
We asked Jannali to send us a podcast and he came up with this incredible afrobeats mix for the occasion. The selector dug deep into his digital crates and created a formidable mix blending afropop, global bass and West African afrobeats. We’re happy to have Jannali on the series and thank him for allowing us to step into the new year with positive energy.

INFINITY SOUND GOTHENBURG SWEDEN BIOGRAPHY

It all started with just a mixtape CD mixed by Fred for fun and was completely sold out at Summer Jam Reggae Festival (Germany 2007). That is when Lucky Fred (Main Selector/Founder) a riddim collector at that time and Mighty Bento (MC/Founder) long time reggae dancehall
listener from Zimbabwe one of the biggest African reggae dancehall fan base came together and created Infinity Sound based in Gothenburg Sweden's second largest city. At that time it was only 3 sounds that had control of the city's reggae scene but through hard work Infinity Sound earned their stripes leading to a lot of bookings home and abroad from festivals to bashment and outdoor parties.

Still all this was not enough because there was that burning desire to enter into the clash scene and rub shoulders against big sounds, that eventually led to the building up of a strong dub box which to this date has resulted in 3 clash wins out 5 in Denmark Copenhagen Reggae Festival Sound Clash 2013 to Gothenburg Sweden Coast to Coast Sound Clash 2014 and most recently in Stockholm Sweden Killer Instinct Sound Clash 2016.

As of now Infinity Sound has a new selector Young P, who is bringing in new set of ideas and running the studio which is a base to our new project called Mash Up Radio (www.mashupradio.se). The project is a platform for interviews with main focus on the underground scene which we strongly believe set the trend.
