This is a live recording of the The Lucky So & So's performing their "D For DILLA" set live. We performed at Club Heaven & Hell in Adams Morgan DC on 3-8-2014. Performing an entire J DILLA set was the idea of our lead guitarist Ian Taronji. We all share a mutual love and appreciation for J DILLA's music and wanted to capture it and honor his legacy by performing a live set of his music. We only had three weeks to form the band, arrange the songs and then perform them so it was a major challenge but it was all worth it.
