LUCKY4U - Chocked Out

After a short hiatus, the Select Mix Series is back. This time we have the talented DJ, producer, & writer Darkmavis joining our series.

DarkMaivis primarily produces and plays Hard Dance, Club and Experimental Electronic Music. He is the co-founder of the collective's Common Ground & Crane Club and is also a regular contributor with Four/Four Magazine. This mix begins with a recently released track from his and Sweet Philly's E.P, which progresses the mix slowly into a journey through trance which and then onto blends of hard techno, experimental sounds and gabber before a final uplifting trance send-off. 

This mix features tracks from Randomer, UNiiQU3, VTSS, RuiHo, AceMo & Swisha, Dj Genderfluid and Chippynonstop, Antpuke and many many more.

Episode 11 brings Manchester’s hottest prodigy, Porchcrawler, to the series this week. We’ve had our eyes on this guy for some time now, and we’re delighted to bring you guys an hour of manic breaks and techno from the man himself.

At just 19 years old, Porchcrawler aka Harvey Barker has taken the Manchester scene by storm with his energised productions and skills behind the decks. His tracks have featured on HAAI’s famous AVA Boiler Room as well as BBC Radio 1 and Australia’s Triple J Radio. In 2018, he supported Manchester’s legendary group 808 state on their UK tour, with plans in the works to do it all again on their tour with Afrodeutche and ABSOLUTE later this year.

Harvey’s influences stem heavily from Germany’s EBM Scene and James Stinson’s Drexciyan sound - allowing him to gain the attention of promoters across the country to play alongside Kettama, DJ Haus and Kraftwerk at various festivals.

Big ups to Harvey for providing one of our favourite mixes of the series so far!

known for his fast-paced style and taste, best described as energising, hard-hitting and packing some serious solid grooves for the ride.

Heavily inspired from 90's old school techno selections, cutting and mixing. The Digital Indecency stud infuses this into his sets and mixes, while also having being a regular in the Dublin club circuit.  DJ Rush, Dave Clarke, Sunil Sharpe are just some of the names that play a part in the influence side, and for him to portray the same craft.

He has played in venues such as 39/40, The Sound House and Wigwam.

Alex has played on the same card as Hadone as well as playing with some of Dublins hottest collectives such as Embedded and Slither. With some international acts to support which are TBA watch this space!
