Lucky Penny Thoughts: I was looking forward to re-making this Shake Maker video.  When I originally did the McDonald's Happy Meal Magic toys, We never thought we would get the response we did.  We had a lot of people question why it was not a real shake, so I hoped to clear that up with this new video.  The box does say it "looks" like a real shake.  We have other makers that do make a real shake, but this set was to make shakes that look like the real thing.  I also found out that by putting them in the refrigerator or freezer, you could get a realistic looking and tasting shake :)

McDonald's Happy Meal Magic Shake Maker Set, 1993 Mattel Toys (Fun Recipes)

I make an M&M Cookie Bake Set with our 1997 Easy Bake oven!  What a colorful set of cookies :)

Lucky Penny Thoughts: This oven was sort of a transition from using the real recipes listed in the booklet to having all boxed mixes.  I got to pick from a variety of mix sets and I decided on the M&M Bake Set.  The 1993 Easy Bake was around for about 10 years, so a lot kids probably had this oven.  Another feature was the heating section at the top of the oven.  I made S'mores and Rice Krispies Treats!  What a fun oven!  I listed all of the different mix sets I show in the video in the product section.  There are even more sets like the My Little Pony and Shrek.

S'mores
Melted Chocolate (1/2 of one warming tray)
Marshmallow Fluff  (2 tsp Marshmallow Fluff second tray)
Graham Crackers
Heat for 6-9 minutes then pour half each on a Graham Cracker and make a sandwich.

Krispies Treats
1 tsp butter
2 tsp Marshmallow Fluff
Fill the second tray 1/2 way with Rice Krispies
Combine the krispies after you heat up the mixture for 9 minutes

Lucky Penny Thoughts: What a fun game!  You wear giant pink thumbs to pick up little sticks of dynamite.  The object is to be the first person to put all of their dynamite in the dynamite shack before the roof blows off!  It is a fast paced game where you are constantly switching thumbs and adding your dynamite to the shack!  Great family game night!

Lucky Penny Thoughts: Thanks for checking out or video of this hard to find Tomy toy.  We do not have the exact name of the toy,  we just called it the Pull 'N Pop Gumball Machine!  This video is a re-visit video.  We already have a video of it, but the original video was short and did not go over the toy in much detail.  We had to re-find the toy to shoot the video, but it is worth it when a toy like this is hard to find and also the fact that the original video has over 1 million views!  This time I had a 2 minute playtime with the toy and that was what I really wanted to feature.  Watch the ending!

Lucky Penny Thoughts: I was really looking forward to playing this game on a video.  I think I had more fun just building the blocks and knocking them down.  It is fun with a group of people and is very much like Jenga or other black games where you have to build a tower then carefully remove blocks without knocking it over.  I also thought the little game cubes would make great display pieces for your collection of figures.

Lucky Penny Thoughts: These 3-D games are really colorful and fun to set up.  It is like building a little world to play your game in.  This had an interesting twist with the spinning dials that stopped you from going forward or penalized you for ending up on one when your opponent decided to spin the dial. Lucky Penny Thoughts: This was an easy game to play and figure out.  It is a fast paced game with a quick roll of the dice you play just like your bowling.  Any time I get to check out a new game, I like to clean the box and all of the parts, then read over the instructions and in many cases play the game prior to making the video.  This way I have a better understanding of game play.  Are you a fan of older games?  Let us know in the comments.

Lucky Penny Thoughts: These are really fun banks to play with. I like how the coins move through the upper section to land in the correct spot.  You would think that it would be organized by size, but the unique traveling rail allows the coins to move into the correct slot.  Having it in the original box with all of the original items makes it a hard to find item.

Lucky Penny Thoughts: This game is like the game of Operation!  Be careful not to touch the edge with your magnetic diver!  the object is to collect as much of the bounty as possible by doing harder tasks and collecting more money.  There are little twists and turns with special treasure cards.
