In an unprecedented and unpredictable time, fellow musicians Jordan Craig and Jonas have seen one positive come to light in creating the sultry, vibey, and infectious groove called "Move that body" The Pandemic has birthed many notable artist collaborations. Still, most come from the necessity of having no other option, with social distancing being imperative to human survival. For these three troubadours, Remote collaboration is their only vehicle. All three artists are thousands of miles apart yet have become very close to music collaborators and friends. Jordan has been the catalyst for this project. Eliciting Craig on "Vocalizer" (a hub to connect producers to top liners) after hearing his song "Good morning," The two soon found they shared an unquenchable passion for Pop, Dance, and Hip-Hop music and set to work. Their first effort ended up on "Submithub" to be judged by the masses. The reviews were mixed, but the journey for constructive criticism brought them to Jonas, a bright young up and comer from Germany with a pension for Ed Sheeran. After hearing the test song, Jonas was emphatic about a collaboration. Craig and Jonas shared some music back and forth. It was apparent that Jonas's rap/sing style and his catchy, picking guitar style would lend well to a demo that Jordan played for Craig. Jordan was expressing that he wanted to produce a Latin style track to capture the feeling and vibe of the Latin culture. Peace, tranquility, and love are a few words that describe this feeling. Auro had the idea for a Latin vibe track after visiting beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico, where he encountered all of these feelings and became immersed in cultural diversity. The three agreed it was a fruitful collaboration, and ideas pinged into WhatsApp with ferocity. It didn't take long for the music and arrangement to come together. Both Craig and Jonas collaborated on the lyrics, with each artist bringing their personality and flair to their prospective verses. Craig and Jonas decided that lyrically this wasn't going to be a cliché Latin tune talking about senoritas and far off paradises. They wanted to have an urban vibe and a universal message about love and chance meetings with beautiful strangers. Craig and Jonas recorded in separate home studios. Through access to the Gmail folder of vocal stems, Jordan made the magic happen in his home studio to perfect and finalize this awe-inspiring release. This song is a testament to teamwork, technology, and this brave new world confirms that you don't need to all be in the same room to collaborate and release meaningful art. September 11th (the release of "Move that Body") will be Jordan and Craig's coveted arrival to the world of mainstream pop and dance. With at least four more releases to follow. Their only hope is that you enjoy their musical offerings, as much as they did, so creating them.
