STS-131: Sound of Launch

All credit must be given where needed.

I was invited along to boom operate three 16 second short films with A/B photography, Tom Lox, Lee Isserow & Ste Webster for competition entries. 

This is the result of the post audio production.  

The films were shot in various different places in Liverpool
(UK)throughout a single day (nice one lads)

Logic 9 pro provided some of the SFX while www.soundsnap.com provided the rest.

Ah! A day gently rowing on a small English river with some special friends, and of course a bottle of wine to enjoy, in the warmth of an English summer.

Now if only I had been asked to perform on that stage what may have been has finally been realised......Lol! 

I was at this festival back in '84 and what a great festival it was. Loved it apart from the cops getting really heavy trying to stop it all.

The spelling of Midsomer is the Old English one before anyone starts getting heavy about it. OK!

Stonehenge '84 (Midsomer Morn)

'Chorus' is an piece created from a duet of vocalists improvising. By using electronics to manipulate their voices, I hope to create a sense of disembodiment.

I wrote this song due to everything going on in the world today.
love is the most powerful emotion if we come together we will rise together dont let fear scare you.

We Are

This mix is dedicated to my Grandad who passed away recently and was reunited with is beloved wife on the 13/11/2020. Its a mix unplanned and one that I had to get out of my system and something that myself and my cousins can enjoy. I played from my heart x
