The second mix of this season's Meta Moto Podcast features Frank Wodorost, a music producer and DJ from Warsaw, Poland. For two years, Frank hosted a radio show on Radio Kapitał, where he showcased independent music, focusing on new wave, synthpop, and experimental genres. To date, he has contributed a track to a compilation by the Warsaw-based collective Narocz 13 and is preparing to release his debut EP. He occasionally performs at venues across Warsaw. This mix highlights artists such as Dollkraut, Bound by Endogamy, C.L.A.W.S., and many other esteemed names.

A long-time resident of Hong Kong, Byrne has traversed the darker corners of the
city’s nightlife for the better part of the last decade, organising parties and holding
residencies at venues such as Drop, Midnight & Co. and Oma. His time in Asia has
seen him feature at some of the region's leading music events the likes of
Clockenflap, Sónar and Quest to name a few.
He currently runs Disco for the Damned, a monthly radio show that resides at FM
Belowground showcasing dark electronic music from guests from all over the world.
Most recently, Byrne has used the Disco for the Damned platform to establish a
music label under the same name. The label released its first compilation album in
early 2024, featuring works from artists who have contributed to the show in the past.

Built around the eerie sample of a 1990s telephone message—the kind you’d hear when dialing a non-existent number—the track transforms a mundane fragment of the past into a profound and unsettling sonic experience. These fragments of lost communication serve as a metaphor for modern alienation, where meaningful connections are increasingly rare in a world consumed by noise, miscommunication, and superficial interactions.

DJ and techno producer and sound engineer with 14 years of experience in festivals, fashion shows and exhibitions. In 2008 and 2010 he participated in one of the largest festivals on the beaches of Cuba called Rotilla. Co-founder of the A.S.S.C (Anti Social Social Club) project, considered the first international quality techno event in Cuban history. This is how rave culture is created in the island.

Released songs on several labels such as Abstraction, Härte, Alien Rave Music and Simplecoding. With podcasts for these labels. Resident in Russia since 2021. In 2023 he co-founded Social Rejected, techno label/rave/booking. All always along the same conceptual line of the TECHNO/RAVE/UNDERGROUND culture. Everything “MADE IN LA HAVANA”. Is the first techno DJ in Cuba working in web3 and NFT format. Also working in “HAVANA TECHNO RESISTANCE”. One crew of the three more significant and underground project in Havana.
