It's been a while since we last travelled to India, her near perfect climate and huge pool of talent combine to give us the listener, an always unique perspective of the underground dance music scene. Leading the line of new wave DJs, we hit up a name with the class thats making him shine amongst a sea of stars. Il Modo make some noise for the brilliant Erit Lux

Erit Lux is a ground-breaking Deep, Organic & Progressive House DJ based out of Hyderabad, India. Resident DJ/Artist at Saturo Sounds, with an ear for what sounds good, Erit takes inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres, sampling everything from within the scene.

His radio show "Lux Cast" features DJs and artists from around the world specialising in Organic & Deep house vibes. So far the show has hosted big names Ilias Katelanos, Greg Ochman, Tristan Case, DJ Joma aka Lenz, Jakhira, Bjorn Salvador, Mass Digital, Weird Sounding Dude,  Teleport- X, 8Souls, Tim Gray, Flo Reen, Niko Garcia and Hausman among many others.

Erit has recorded brilliant mixes for various channels and labels including Juicebox Radio, Nordic Voyage Recordings, A Soul on Board, Deep House Petersburg, Underground Colombo, Levitate Music, Progresivna Suza, Beach Radio, Around Us Invites,  So it Goes Radio,  Right Frequency and many more. Lucy is relatively new to the Sydney dance scene and has shared the decks with Henry Saiz for Return to Rio, Bootz n Catz, Sunset Project, The Fan Club, Phil Smart’s Tempo Comodo at club 77 and most recently for the launch party of the  Return to Rio festival with Monkey Safari and Return to Rio Halloween Special festival with headliners such as Nick Warren and Patrice Baumel.

Lucy also runs a bi-montly progressive house event with Steve Marx and Andy Hardwick called Inside Out in Sydney.

Lucy's musical style is unique. A deep groove runs through her sets as she segues between darker tracks and dreamy soundscapes along with driving rhythms which flow deep, soft and driving, taking you on a journey of self-discovery.  

Her passion motivates her to keep learning and expanding as a DJ. She says, ‘Dancing connects you to your ‘tribe’… to an experience of feeling open, free, and truly alive’.  

She is loving the deep melodic, progressive, tribal and indie sounds right now and gets her inspiration from a multitude of DJ’s such as John Digweed, Patrice Baumel, Hernan Cattaneo, Tantum, Mira, and Frida Darko.
