The new lyrics below, entitled "PG&E Is Ending", are for use by anyone who wants to address the insufferable greed and disregard for human life that is characteristic of the directors, past and present, of Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), the huge utility company that has had a virtual monopoly on providing electricity and natural gas to residents of California for many years. Sing this song at a PG&E location near you.

It is ironic that the 2018 Paradise fire, the so-called Camp Fire, which was caused by the criminal negligence of the directors of PG&E, and which killed 86 persons, spared the Paradise Cemetery where my grandmother is buried.

Bankruptcy will save their ass,  P G & E Di-rec-tors. 
Leastways that's what they all think, after failing people.
Gave executives payouts instead of fire victims.
Power lines all were ignored, causing many to die.

Hither folks and stand with me, we know who they’re screwing.
Profit o’er the Earth is what PG&E is doing.
Can’t they see that climate change is a real deal breaker
Let's all break PG&E up, hold them all accountable.

Who supports PG&E?  Only filthy rich folks.
Fossil fuel firms and banks say profit now regardless.

We shall gain a good life where PG&E is ending.

Two hundred sixty nine billion dollars 
Chase has sunk into fossil fuel firms 
since the Paris Climate Accord,  Climate Accord!

JPMorgan Chase has, since the Paris Climate Accord, continued to be the biggest bankroller of the fossil fuel industry. It is one of the lenders  providing huge amounts of financing to Enbridge, a Canadian energy transportation company. Enbridge owns and operates Line #3, which runs from Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin, and which transports tar sands oil. Enbridge is seeking financing to build a new (replacement) Line 3 pipeline through Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) land in Minnesota. This would be in violation of US treaties with the Anishinaabe. The banks who currently provide financing to Enbridge will make a decision on March 31, 2021 on whether they will go ahead and finance a replacement Line 3 through Anishinaabe territory, even though by doing so they would be financing an illegal operation.
