Lud Dub is an SF-based DJ, and promoter with 25+ years of experience in the music industry. Originally starting out as a Reggae/Dub/Dancehall DJ, Lud Dub formed Cosmic Vibe Sound with best friends Urbun &amp; Billy Culture in '91.

In '06 Lud Dub incorporated sub bass genres Dubstep, Grime, and UKG into his DJ sets, going full circle to feature Reggae and Bass Music in multi-genre/multi-tempo DJ sets. He's been featured with heavyweights like Digital Mystikz, Plastician, Distance, Pinch, Footsie, Tes La Rock, Mele & DJ Rashad.

In '08 he co-started "Big Up Magazine", a quarterly print/online publication focused on Bass Music, Contemporary Art, and Street Culture. In addition to branding, business development, and content acquisition; Lud contributed feature articles, reviews, and interviews with Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, David Rodigan, Amon Tobin, Poirier, and Ras Kassa.

Playing extensively on the West Coast, and parts of the US, Lud has toured Europe with multi-tempo sets at Outlook 2012, in London at: Fabric, XOYO, The Big Chill, and Notting Hill Carnival; in addition to Barcelona, Berlin, Bratislava, Glasgow, and Munich.

He's also performed with Int'l Reggae acts including Lee "Scratch" Perry, Mad Professor, Horace Andy, Mungo's Hi-Fi, The Mighty Diamonds, Steel Pulse, Michael Rose, Reggae Roast, The Heatwave, and Top Cat.

Current sets include a diverse range of tempos including Grime, Garage, UK Funky, Footwork, Gqom, Modern Roots, Digi-Dub, Drill &amp; all styles in between.
