I met @hss-2 in Tokyo in Summer 2019, along with Yama, Takanori and Takashi. Hisashi was my first friend in Tokyo and he introduced me to the city's incredible nightlife. At the end of my time there he invited me to a party in a curry restaurant at the top of a skyscraper by the sea. One of the best nights of my life!

It's one year since we started these audio series. At the time just to cope with and still ongoing situation, today to keep us in touch with you all somehow, while we are still deprived (adjective ° suffering a severe and damaging lack of basic material and cultural benefits) from doing something we really live for, gather occasionally a bunch of interesting respectful, and creative individuals to curate a certain time within a temporary space, under perfect "basic" conditions. 

To lift our mood up and to say hiiii, Tiago Marques, someone who we have been gladly and "thankfuly" knowing troughout our time hands us the 008 Anexo podcast. 

A friend, a producer and an amazing DJ with a fine taste, who's always disconcertingly good when you hear him either is at a Club, a rave, or just at a windless night at home. Someone who we have been "enriching" ourselves with. 

Tiago has been around for almost a decade, with enoumerous participations behind the decks wether as a regular for the well known Bloop Recordings parties for who he also released to, or simply at some of the main music hubs and clubs in Portugal. For our pleasant memory we will never forget the amazing time we had together somewhere lost in Marvila for the Anexo 9. 
Lately he joined the Nugs On Board family where a lot of good music is coming from, Nationaly and Internationaly stamped, and who have been doing an excellent work, keep an eye on it. 

For the time being just bear with his  Anexos "ravey" sublime approach and we keep looking forward to where we can be together again.

Number 13th on our nugcast series comes from an amazing artist that we had the pleasure to work with in our first record.

@philevans_sc is a Mainz born and Frankfurt based DJ and Producer. He is the Co-founder of Pager Records and runs a residency at Robert Johnson Club in Offenbach.

Production wise he could land some great EPs on Labels like Blankstate, Sensual, Twig, Vigenere and of course on Pager Records. His release “Saniti EP” on raum…musik which was listed on Resident Advisors Best Tracks of 2018 attracted worldwide on him as a Producer.

These releases also helped him being booked as a DJ with gigs in the US, Asia and Europe. In Germany he played in iconic Clubs like Robert Johnson, CDV, Hoppetosse, Tresor, Parker Lewis to name a few.

Phil’s always on the hunt for great music ranging from classic US house groovers over Minimal to funked-out Techno whippers so you’re definitely in for a treat on your next party.

"I've recently had the pleasure of playing quite a few nice gigs and also have a few lined up so the mix was basically a product of me going through the selections of the recent / soon to come shows and playing the "other" tracks from these records. Other meaning, well, there is always that one track that comes to your mind when you see the record, the track you pack the record for, that track you always play. you know? So in this mix i played the other tracks from these records. Plus a few new ones thrown in as well that fitted the flow. Plus an edit given to me from my buddy Florist, plus one of my edits. All over the vibe i would say is between Bleep and Ambient Techno/House with a few trancy overtones, but quite driving and dancable."
