Broker has been part of the Verflixt family from the very beginning.
Known for his bass-driven sounds, he keeps pushing it forward by exploring more of a techno sound in his new EP „Sequencer“. Powerful kicks and a juicy bassline surrounded by dizzy noises make Sequencer stand out to his previous releases. To top it off Sabura threw in a remix of the title-track, which sets you into a dreamy state and lets you float away on its melodic accents. For the counterpart „Rave and Morty“, Broker stayed true to himself and crafted a song
that creates the urge to jump up immediately and get to the front of the Dancefloor.

Alex Stein - Speed Of Light

Loose Records focuses on groovy techno, and is the sister label to Unrilis. The label has a focus on emerging talent, and it put out early releases from names like Luigi Madonna, Roberto Capuano, Raffaele Rizzi and Hybrasil.

The new release welcomes Martin Kinrus who has worked with Metodi Hristov's Set About and Ramon Tapia's Say What? label for example.

Martin Kinrus is from Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he is a part of the country's rising scene, which is fast becoming a breeding ground for a variety of techno talent.

First of the three original tracks to feature on this EP is 'Bandit' that starts with the relentless pounding of a distorted kick drum, which is joined by a pulsating bassline, and ominous euphoria of a powerful lead synth. Following the same formula, 'Basic' takes a similar approach, but only deeper and more hypnotic. 'Ritual' closes the release in epic style with trippy vocals and aggressive momentum.

Georgel Grégory aka Greg Notill is from France and started his career with the new century. He made a long career as a Hard Techno DJ And Producer, releasing more than 300 tracks on major labels and playing in many big festivals worldwide, including Awakenings. After almost 20 years of Hard Techno, he decided to experiment some more cool, melodic and cosmic sounds. The research drove him into something more subtle, like Techno. Techno for him is like a musical and cosmic trip. Greg has already signed with a lot of major Techno labels like Say What?, IAMT, Reload Black, Silent Storm and he's now co-owner of Black Snake Recordings.

Mike Molokhia aka MiSinki is a British DJ and acclaimed Producer with over 100 mainstream releases across the pool of Tech House and Techno. Fast becoming a name on every techno lovers lips, MiSinki has skyrocketed within the last 12 months to become a highly recognizable and consistent producer. A regular on the UK techno circuit and true crowd pleaser, MiSinki has carved a reputation in the studio for producing quality, percussion-driven, intelligent and pulsing Techno. He also has his own label, ‘Mechanikal’, releasing worldwide DJs.

These two legends come together with this great EP, with cosmic and pulsing and driven sounds, with extremely striking beats, which will sure make you move automatically.

"In 2013, when I was in the Hardtechno / Schranz music scene, Monegros promoters asked me to play together with Instigator a special 170bpm 1 hour hardtechno set for the festival (yes, I was really hard before... ). Monegros was, for me, something like a dream. Playing in the middle of a Spanish desert was insane. So, I asked my girlfriend to come with me as she usually does to celebrate it and enjoy the party as much as possible. Usually, for us, celebrate a party is about drinking and dancing (and playing the dj set of course).... But, this night I (and she) did not drink at all... why??? Because 2 days before the festival we learned that my girlfriend was pregnant... So, even if it was one of the best party in my life, as a serious future daddy, and to show as much solidarity as possible, I only drank water on Monegros... It was a magical moment anyway and we celebrated it for the first time as three and not only 2 (Amalia, my daughter, was probably dancing during the whole night too... )” - Greg Notill

“So I had my very first gig just 1 month after I got in touch with music production and DJ’ing. I was living in Malta at this time and and didn’t really know how all this works. The club I was supposed to play was a reggae club originally, not prepared for this as the gig was part of a charity event and didn’t have any equipment for me to use, so I had to head back home and get my Ableton Push (my only hardware at this point) and come back and play my 1 hour set with it. Luckily I had done this a few times as I had no other controller at this time and it wasn’t too difficult for me. Everything worked out fine in the end and people were dancing and having fun. I will never forget the adrenaline flushing through my body when this guy came up to me and asked me, what I am going to use for my gig and pointed to my empty hands though.” - Vince Weyn

Hot off the back of a contribution to A-Sides Vol.9, Victor Ruiz returns for his second EP on Drumcode.

The Brazilian artist has been an industrious contributor to DC over the past 12 months, beginning with his excellent debut EP ‘Nimbus’ last May. Since then, he’s played Drumcode Festival, was part of the iconic Warehouse Project party in November and also featured in the first Drumcode Indoors session in March. His production prowess will be fresh in the minds of DC faithful after ‘Intuit’, his collaboration with Thomas Schumacher, was a standout of the recent A-Sides Vol.9 compilation.

The ‘Freedom’ EP is Ruiz’s next offering and emblematic of the creative breakthrough he experienced while crafting the four-track work. The title track is led by hypnotic rhythms and deep bass stabs before a vox enters the fore and builds to a delicious climax. ‘Illusions’ is a pulsating bassline-led groover that builds alongside mystical vocal effects. ‘Senses’ exudes an understated touch of Detroit soul and is a handy DJ tool for varying occasions. ‘Existence’ is a searing late-night techno affair, as layers of melody and swelling pads conjure a thrilling laser-kissed atmosphere.
