We feel truly blessed to be able to hand you another great release in our PHW & Friends series, this one the 5th one coming on the label. For those who have followed us through the years, knows this is a place where we try and give new rising talent and producers we believe strongly i, a chance to show their names on the scene, among some of the more known producers on the progressive scene. We do believe we have got a great collection of interesting names with us here, having productions for you, so ready for the summer! Flying of this 5th episode, is a welcome return to one of the names in the business that is skyrocketing the charts the most. Having his latest PHW EP on the "Beatport Progressive Top 100" for a month, as well as his Sunset Melodies release breaking inside the "Top 20", of course we talk about the super talented Alex H from Perth, Australia. This time he joins in with his production "Kwekme", baptized after the city in Zimbabwe, the country where Alex spent parts of his childhood and was brought up. As always, be ready for a melodic gem that will blow your socks of from start to finish. Right after, you will have a glimpse of one of our co-workers here on PHW, Canadian rising talent Andrew Lang. With his reputation quickly rising, we for once had a strong belief when he showed us this track. "Inner Fire" is a truly strong production, filled with a lot of energetic elements, in a blend mix with melodic synth riffs and pumping effects that definitely takes you ahead on this journey that just begun. We are as thrilled as ever to see Andrew taking part in the label, and we can assure that you are to see a lot more from him through us. Next up, is a stopover in Russia where we are happy to see a good friend of the label back, the great Vasiliy Goodkov who returns with his "Lena". As always you are to get a powerful melodic monster from the Russian, filled with energy, tension and awesome melodic work. We couldn't be happier than having Vasiliy back on the label. For the 4th production, we were able to get our most frequent producer back in the house, of course we are talking about Martin Graff, the superb melodic producer hailing from Poland. This time he joins us together with another producer from Poland, Rafa El for a creative production, made for the summer. "Dreamscape" as this one is named, is another fine selection of electronic weapons from the 2 youngsters. They bring on the full artillery of sounds here when it all goes in full bloom, built up through superb textures, wobbly bass chords and super smooth melodic lines. Further ahead we welcome the talented UK producer Tom Newman, more known through his Outlook moniker back to PHW. As always he brings on sun drenched vibes, cool vocal additions and an overall great and upbeat production, filled with a lot of the elements that bring back a smile on our faces. It's top notch yet again from him and it's always great to see Tom deliver. Moving on, to the next production on this journey, we have the pleasure to welcome a brand new producer on the label, also hailing from poland where he works his music through his Bastian South moniker. "Lost In Paradise" as the track is named, is a superb production, filled with energy, powerful bass lines and wicked melodies working on and out of the track. We do believe this is another producer having a bright future on the progressive scene, and we are please to push him through our PHWS & Friends series. We do believe you are to like what you hear. As the 7th track on our journey, US producer and newbie on the label, Maxim Stonor joins us with a wonderful production, called "Leagues". It definitely matches the criterias we had when setting this release together, as he contributes with all the things we see for, flying melodies, driving bass lines and a great tension built up for the full track, we do love what he has made here and hope a lot of you feel it is a great track for you as well. Crossing midway in to the release, we are proud to present Greenage to our regular PHW label as well. Already taking part on our deeper division, PHW Elements, with his fine Gary McDonald collaboration a few weeks back, he now joins us with a skilled original work on his own, called "Eureka". With this one, we are taking the tempo down a bit, and moving on with some warmer kind of progressive music. I have to admit, when hearing this the first time, I immediately pressed the play button again and again. It has some truly magnificent textures and atmosphere that definitely is something we seek for every week. We couldn't have asked for more, and to see Greenage back with us, well, it's another proud moment for us. Next up, we have the pleasure to welcome back the super friendly producer hailing from the UK, Deepen Ravalia aka D05. As being rock solid producer on our label right from the start and always a producer who had belief in what we do, it is nothing less than an honour to have him back with his R.A.M production. For those of you following the scene for a while, know everything about Dee-man's ability, and he is to seduce us once more with his groovy bass chords and flying melodic hooks, and he hits the spot right on here. Midge, the UK producer return to us once more, this time with a great friend of him, Agent89 on a collaboration. They bring on a cool melodic hook, simple but tasty but it's not always about trying the hard stuff out, it's all about getting it together, and they for sure does it in style here, with their pumping production "Visionary". As no. 11 on this compilation, The Egypt constellation A.Squared joins us with a killed piece of progressive beats, this one called "Dans Le Noir".

American artist Dan Sieg joined Silk Royal in October 2012 with one of the most memorable opening statements in the history of our imprint: the emotive progressive trance anthem "Breaking The Illusion," released under his "Dan & Sam" moniker. Over the last few years, we have had the enormous privilege of witnessing Dan's remarkable evolution as an artist, from his uplifting and lyrically profound vocal hit "Walls" (feat. Maxx Hennard) to his deeper, more introspective remix of Toby Hedges' "Images." His journey has now reached a new plateau with the arrival of his debut artist album: "A Sense Of Wonder." The album features 10 brand new cuts, all of which display Dan's immense artistic range, as well as the sensitivity and depth of feeling that have imbued all of his work to date.

The listener's journey begins with "Iris," which fittingly opened our Silk Royal Showcase #250 live event in San Francisco. A hypnotic arpeggio and distorted background synth provide an unforgettable intro, which is soon followed by a clubby, up-tempo house groove. The title cut appears next, which centers on delicate arps, celestial synth stabs, and a techno-influenced bassline motif. The brooding and pensive "Gloom" initially paints a bleak existential picture, yet ultimately delivers a deeply moving (and hopeful) melodic theme. The fourth cut on the album, "Erko," treats fans to an infectious vocal line from Dan himself, while a progressive house groove and lush melody offer additional aural sustenance. The album's lead single, "No Way Back Up," arrives next and features the sensational Australian duo Illuminor, who have proven themselves to be a formidable threat in both the production and vocal arenas. A breakbeat rhythm eventually crescendoes into a stunning chorus by Michael Ware of Illuminor; the combination of Dan's innovative groove and Michael's poignant vocal performance is truly breathtaking.

The second half of the album begins with "Welcome To The Alley," a sun-kissed, festival-ready anthem in-the-making. The song's psychedelic bassline will tickle your brain and simultaneously compel you to dance. Next in line, "Grace" offers a club-friendly, cavernous bassline and an outer-worldly atmosphere. The subsequent cut, "Wispy," is a slow-burning, after-hours affair, with an equally evocative soundscape. The album's penultimate track, "Techbruary," represents Dan's foray into tech house; it is also reveals the lighthearted and humorous side of his personality. Finally, the trance-influenced "Horizons" brings the album to a glorious conclusion. The numerous melodic layers shine through the track like beams of light, radiating positivity, hope, and a sense of interconnectedness amongst all of us who rely on music to best illustrate the human experience.

The first remix comes from UK super producer Zuubi who is no stranger to the progressive house world, creating some of the most awe inspiring releases to grace our auditory senses. With an impressive list of productions on labels such as Sunset Melodies, DMAX Recordings & Macarize, he has added this enthralling remix to it. Adding a more gritty & electronic edge to the mellow original, Zuubi gives a taste of the nightlife, creating a perfect floor filler to enjoy on those rolling summer nights. This energetic remake certainly breathes a whole new aura into naturally by ensuring that the soothing melodies have remained, just given a little boost to highlight the good feelings the release emits. 

Next up we have another progressive house sensation, Musty to join us & concoct this gleaming remix. This Argentinian based producer has provided some beautiful production on labels such as Elliptical Sun Melodies, Mindgate Music & Sunset Melodies & his talent can be heard instantaneously. Following the paths of the serene & calming feel of the original, Musty takes it down further by developing the luscious melodic vibrancy that can be absorbed so easily. Almost like a sigh of relief, you feel the softness of the release via the gentle chord work & piano lines, how they emulate the works of the original artists.  

Last but not least we have dynamite remix from Sunny Terrace who joins us from Korea. Establishing is name on labels such as Pineapple Digital, PHW & Elliptical Sun Melodies, he delivers this dashing remix for us. A cross between a chilling yet upbeat vibe, he adds more flavor to the melodies by creating more layers of perfection.  More beautiful melodic stabs encased with light pads & percussions show the warmth & relaxing aura of the release, making you want to delve into a world of bright skies, cool breezes & warm, reflecting waters.  

Nothing but hard work, dedication & peaking emotion has gone into these reworks,  remixing any track properly is a daunting task but these producers have done the original artists proud as well as the label. Perplexity Music is bringing back Germany based producer Maiga for our next EP release. After the success of his first release here, it is with much anticipation that we bring you this 4 track EP 'Aurora/Sunrise' for your listening pleasures. A truly impressive collection of tracks within this so have a listen and hear the quality. 

The first track 'Aurora' is a gem from start to play as it packed with strong, summer fuelled chord work that adds color to the melody which fuses in perfectly with the light percussives. Its clear & crisp sound structure really enhances the beautiful synths that play along with the chords, breathtaking to say the least and one that'll stay on your playlist for some time.

Following this we have 'Sunrise', keeping in with the theme of warm summers & shimmering rays with the captivating melodies. The chord work again is divine and captures your auditory senses right away. Delve into this top of the line track that is lively, feel good & riveting in every sense of the manner. 

Poland based producer Ledo goves 'Aurora' an incredible remix that takes it up a notch, increasing the tempo but still retaining those heartfelt melodies that are found in the original. A lively barrage of percussions rain down alongside the enthralling melodic hooks, working sublimely to create something energetic and stunning at the same time.  

Persona delivers a fantastic rework of 'Sunrise', another remix that retains the phenomenal sounds of the original whilst implementing a more laid back feel with it's soft layers of chords and synths.  Easy on the ears & luxurious to feel each sound, this is packed with everything that summer needs and if summer hasn't started; then this is already paving the way for it.
